As an American I was always told that Fiats were crap (Fix It Again Tony) but after watching a few of these chase scenes I'm thinking these 124s are built like tanks.
@@janoslehr1256 Yeah, I also recommend that movie to ppl fascinated american chases, that movie looks like the used only one red 124 and one black rekord A and while they didn't push that rekord much, I wonder if that 124 was reinforced, even despite they clearly didn't mount that chase ideally in chronology of dents it's still amazing how much damage did that car get and still runs! I actually wreck-raced two fiats and raced third one on some kind of closed track and none of them died, all of them were still rolling when I've scrapped them.
Hai detto bene auto come queste non se ne fanno più carrozzeria forte e resistente e motori brillanti sia alfa sia fiat e W gli anni 70🇮🇹🇮🇹💪🏻💪🏻💪🏻👍😉classe 76 presente
I don't think the drivers are the ones who did any of the stunts, because of the slightly funky-looking shots of them "actually driving", looking like they were sat in a chair and making funny moves with the steering wheels, pretending to actually drive an automobile. But correct me if I'm wrong.
Wooden acting at its best, and the best cardboard box obstacle I’ve seen in years. Even the fiats must have been doing nearly 30mph. Makes Bullet look like a peddle bike race.
Yes they did, Shimanski , Tatort look for it, I also know another one it's called: Superstau, people going on holiday on the German Autobahn and end up in a giant traffic jam, hence the meaning of the title: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-zSAUEBiliQk.html
@@vittoriovedli4819 Yes, obviously, but from the real good times when Italian cars were different from German, Brit'sh, Scandinavian or French ones, not like the badge engineering nightmare those marketing morons try to sell as "character cars" these days.
@@vittoriovedli4819 I'm sorry I can't answer in Italian (and do not like google translator so much), but I can tell I was (and still am) an enthusiastic fan of the 105 Series, had a bunch of Bertones, Giulias and Duettos, but stopped using Alfas after my first Alfetta 2 Litre (3 gearboxes in about 120 k km) and changed to a Citroën D Model back then, which I still have and drive today, together with two other DS I bought on the way ... There have been and still are boring modern cars to get through the salt season, of course, but I still love character and despise "normality" or "compareability" in cars to date. Cheers!
Sad ! In seventies they valued likely old scrap, now someone like to restore em as historical cars . I hope both were so rust and damaged to be “ disposed” without any regret
And now think that 124 derived LADA ZHIGHULI is even stronger than original Fiat due to its reinforcements for harsh Russian roads :D (and it's lift called RIVA was made up until about 2014!)
So they just put him in the back seat without cuffs and without searching him. In the next scene the villainnassasinates both police officers and steals the alfa romeo. Niiiiiice!
@@tomasnokechtesledger1786 No, in the old days Seat used to use Fiat models and vice versa, like the Fiat 133 is a rebadged Seat 133, as the Seat Fura is a rebadged Fiat 127 and on.
Funny how they show that they are driving, manhandling the steering wheel from left to right and the car and maybe all these cars had shitty handling, since nothing happens, lol
I think most people today never driven RWD/ rigid rear or De Dion axle and without assisted steering ...nor own a woman without condom ....Another way of life that generation xyz will never taste anymore
I think is due to the fact that this movies were usually shot with pretty tight budgets, so probably the police Alfa had Ben purchased by the film crew at some auction for retired police cars, that are usually sold when they are at the end of their life span. Sometimes in this films they used cars made especially for them, but again being that the budget were usually pretty small they would use crappy cars that were going to be demolished anyway. In the first mad max movie they did the same thing, you can see that the police cars in the open chase have smoking engines
