I trained some of the drills from Polenar Tactical and UF pro to boost my handling in airsoft, it did a significant job of improving my time and smoothness of operating whatever equippment necessary
Lol yeah it's def an amazing apes together stronk experience to have to think about modifying your tactics to suit airsoft equipment and bang your head against vet airsoft players over and over also you don't know how hard you can get your butt kicked by a bunch of teens in a nerf war until you experience it, Should try it out.

This is why Airsoft can be a really good training tool to supplement more "traditional" training methods, you experience problems and challenges that you otherwise never would've encountered in a Flat Range, now you will be more mindful of your Height over Bore, experience more kinds of terrain, objects and platforms to shoot from, experience and train to quickly differentiate hostile with friendly because shooting at a flat range, you already know where the paper targets are, whereas in Airsoft, targets could come from any direction and can shoot back at you, unlike paper targets so you also learn taking cover, situational awareness and all that fancy terminology, It's also good cardio and it's super fun!
It inspires ingenuity and out of the box thinking. Sometimes that’s a good thing, other times not so good. But being properly equipped to handle unpredictability is a necessity. Airsoft may not be an exceptional way to “train” that brain muscle, but it’s still a positive gain if approached from the right perspective and context.
@@tricksterjoy9740 Yeah, I remember hearing the story of a former Military Serviceman a long while ago that after his Military service he really got into Airsoft but after some years, I forget if he re-enlisted or joined the Police Force as SWAT but anyway, after some years he got into a firefight and had to stop and tell himself for a second "Oh right! there's no respawn". Dunno if his story is true or not but I guess the point is, while Airsoft is a very good training "Supplement", it can also ingrain some really game-y aspects that might get you killed in a real firefight but as long as you approach Airsoft with the intent to train certain aspects so as not to ingrain the wrong things into your subconscious, muscle memory or whatever you call it, then it's a really beneficial thing to add to as well as your flat range training, because force on force / simunition training is very expensive and complicated to organize and most importantly, not everyone has access to those, whereas almost everyone has access to Airsoft.
I've seen dudes actually do alright with rubber knives and fake swords in games. I took nothing but a fake katana and a grenade launcher onto the field as a joke and got 3 kills with the dang sword. Literally stopped a push cold because nobody wanted to come into my building to root me out.
It is easier than you think - people get really focused in. I once sprinted 15m in the open to knife kill a dude...totally got him too. That's to say nothing of the people that nearly step on me every single game day.
@@T4nkcommander With the long blade I found I could "parry" their gun barrel, then strike for the kill. Nothing too rough, don't want to damage someone's setup. That would be rude as fuck.
@8:05 was amazing. I had a similar situation when playing paintball in an old factory with a friend years ago. I saw him on the other side of the building, thru two rooms with broken windows and some rumble and fired one shot. The ball passed thru everything, eventually went thru a 20x20cm hole 50m away from me and hit him square in the face. It was magnificent.
@@PolenarTactical I aimed for it with a zero percentage change of actually making it: Luck did the rest. But yes, one of the reasons I did not follow up on paintball was the pure accuracy. The game is basically depending on massive volume of fire, which bankrupts any regular shmoe. And if I am already goign down that path I might as well du it with smoking barrels ;)
Love it, glad to see another group of real steel guys playing. Airsoft is the one of the best training tools IMO, really teaches you what professional tactical training is real and what is bullshit/whayt situations it is bullshit . For those who are still naysayers, airsoft has some shortfalls, but nothing that another system addresses, and any form of flat range has sooo many shortfalls for learning how to use cover, when to shoot/peak, how to use concealment etc etc. Also, get I'd argue get a GBB if you want it for training.
What i liked about playing airsoft for the first times is that it humbled me about shootouts. Not that i ever thought it could be easy, but it's way way harder than movies or games make it look
Hey Polenar, wanted to say a huge fan of the videos! This is kinda my dream come true since while I love firearms and firearms content, in Europe I can't really pursue it. I use Airsoft as an Analog, and seeing you guys do it (and kick-ass) Is really cool! Look forward to seeing more hopefully.
Firearms training with airsoft is very important!! although it doesn’t simulate the same recoil, you must be trained or have some type of sense of awareness to defend your country! Cheers from America 🇺🇸
Absolutely heartbreaking that that's the case. If it was any other period in history, a country doing something like that would be viewed by everyone as "ohh, that country's government is disarming it's population which is evil and authoritarian. Hopefully they water the ol tree of liberty because no country's citizens should be disarmed" lol : p
weird to see a game where players are all following the rules lol love it, more airsoft content would be appreciated maybe even do it as a second channel? you guys would likely improve as operators, as well as having lots of fun
Almost all matches have only players where everybody follows the rules. Its only sometimes when there are cheaters and such. Just dont believe everything on youtube, you dont know how much they set up in scene just for views.
@@drummerv2245 agreed i rarely run into intentional cheaters. Most people that have only heard of airsoft assume that due to the insane amounts of videos surrounding cheaters whether staged or not airsoft is primarily cheating.
never encountered a cheater in yearts of airsoft or paintball. only bad experience was some guy overshot me in paintball, but that was in one of maybe 100 games. that's all in some of the most "toxic" fields in the world (sc village and their related fields)
I'm loving this overlap between the real steel tactical and airsoft community, both are trying to replicate the same thing so it's cool to see the force on force aspect of airsoft and the weapon handling and tactics from real steel meet.
I miss "woods ball" paintball. We set up a small field that was condensed and cramped to keep the ranges kind of short. It was great. Not exactly perfect tactical training, but there were still good lessons being learned and we had fun. Then we all got old as fack.
@@PolenarTactical Absolutely. At more than close range it is a game of fire superiority, which sucks as the equipment will separate players greatly. Luckily we were all pretty poor :-D We always split the classy gear folks on different teams, so everyone had a support weapon or two. It worked good enough for teenagers.
I once played woodsball in an abandoned Missle Launch Site just outside of Miami in the Everglades (used by the US Army during the Cuban Missle Crisis and later became a detention center). You can't beat the combo of a run down creepy abandoned building and the silent woods that surrounded it. We used select fire paintball guns with red dot optics, .50 caliber paintball pistols and some snipers had bolt guns that fired fin-stabilized paintball rounds to make it a bit more realistic. Lotta fun.
Thanks, it was quite the challenge The video was not planned and we did everything organic. At the end we had 6 hours of footage from a lot of different cameras :/
@@PolenarTactical btw I just remembered that I was watching the Polenar Tactical videos like ten years ago to copy your moves when I was running and airsoft AK. Now I shoot the real steel. Funny how it all comes around
I’m glad you all had fun. It’s a bit silly for Novritsch to give him the fully tricked out SSP18 (G18) with HPA drum mag. Yeah it’s a bit of fun, but he should have used the SSR90 (P90) & then the SSR15 (AR-15) with SSP18 sidearm, to give a more realistic airsoft experience. But I’m sure they had loads of fun with all the cool toys 👍🏼 I hope they go to more game sites & try different environments
I'm interested in airsoft as a training aid, and wonder if it can be done without becoming a "game". Simunitions and scenario based training are all I've done next to regular flat range stuff with live fire.
Your issue with the short gun was recoil control. Needed a strong grip-clamp-C to hold it down! Great video, jealous I didn't get to play with the PT crew.
A set of cheap Chinese night vision goggles will go a long way in this match. I noticed a lot of areas where you guys were getting shot up at where darker areas If I may add the camera guy with the orange vest just giving you guys away. I saw him in the room several times before you guys even came in this alert to the enemy that he is filming someone

No no no no! I'm having such a bad day. A man and his team that I admire and want to shake hands with and take a Slavic selfie with is suddenly in my house in the Czech Republic playing airsoft. And I don't mean the NOVRITSCH team but the POLENAR team! Blyat I have such bad luck.

Idk why gun guys like to talk shit about airsoft. It looks like a ton of fun. I have a friend I talk to about doing airsoft and he said "why, it's all fake?" He and his brother also did paintball when they were younger. It's weird that trying to make the airsoft gun look like a real gun makes them think it's "fake". You have to actually use your head to play the game. I think it'd be cool to make a setup that matches a real gun I use to get a sense of manipulation in stress. Of course it's not "the real thing", but who wants to actually be in "the real thing"
Being many professionals and former professionals, do the mil-sim events says it's serious enough to be valuable, they get to do team work, communication, planning and work on weapons manipulation/handling, even work with night vision. I'd say it's definitely not fake.
Out ofall the guns NOVRITCH has for sale, he should do a AK variation either a AK-12, with piccatiny rail, so you can put on a red dot, and a foregrip or go with the classic AK WITH WOOD furniture. That would be nice. I'd definitely would buy one, have his original sniper and the pistol.

Excellent. Very entertaining video! We need more of these including sorting out your own kit! Different world when targets are trying as hard to get you as your are them but still having fun trying it.
We are looking to do more content with airsoft, specifically mil-sim games with squad tactics, navigation and communication and probably some force-on-force scenarios
I’m 50% Czech I really want to visit there sometime and learn a little more of the Czech history. And might as well shoot some Czech guns and play airsoft as well haha

Come to Canada! Our airsoft club is part of an active range. I can play a morning's worth of games, walk over to the range and change out my airsoft guns for my range toys.

Yeah can be helpful in some situations. I also used burned out smokes for entry to confuse and push. People get lazy tho sometimes when they have nades which gets in the way of fun when u push but they just throw nades and do nothing else….

@@PolenarTactical i'm aware of that being the case in real combat. the most famous case probably is that most US casualities in the first gulf war were through friendly fire. i'd have a hard time with myself if i knew i shot a comrade. great video btw. would be cool if you came to the Dark Emergency event later this week. christoph will be there too, as far as i'm aware. it's the biggest airsoft event in germany.

Only one things is off is you can dodge airsoft bbs’s even just see it coming. That’s makes a huge difference. I could dodge jay because I hear a shot go and I drop out of reaction. Real life I’d be dead if I heard the shot.
the airsoft community has some beef with novritsch. yes, his guns perform great, but they cost more for what you get than if you just did it yourself. thats not the issue, the real issue is that he markets his equipment towards beginners as the be-all end-all gear. *thats* the issue.
@@jamrocin if you're a beginner and don't know what to look for, or don't have any experience in tinkering and working on AS guns yourself, usually Novritsch is a decent brand. depends on where you live, you should check for local stores/sellers. in germany Begadi is regarded as the top tier seller with great customer support if something goes wrong, they also offer 4 years warranty if you buy an airsoft gun that is pre fitted with their own brand mosfet. their "begadi sport" series rebranded cyma guns are very good, not just for starters and great value on top. if you live in the UK i suggest you go watch some video by a youtuber called "Negative Airsoft", he's a tech who swears like a sailor, but is very knowlegable and has some videos on what to look out for, what brands etc.
@@TheWolvesCurse @Matt Fleming The problem with NOVRITSCH brand is that they sell over priced guns & gear and still their quality control and customer service is horrible. There is a lot of cases when people have bought their products and those just simply doesn't work like advertised. When these issues are contacted to the customer service, they wash their hands and make up excuses why that isn't their fault. And this isn't just a one case, it is a well known problem known inside airsoft community. Therefore even though I'm happy that Polenar Tactical is getting more involved in airsoft, I'm also feeling a bit frustrated because they are advertising NOVRITSCH that just isn't a good or trustworthy brand for beginners.
Airsoft rules. Shooting at paper targets isn't the same as trying to outwit a human opponent in real time... gets your adrenaline up even though it's simulated :)
That looks like a lot of fun. Unfortunately, I am elderly and would be useless cannon fodder for any team stuck with me, but it was very entertaining to watch. Thanks for sharing.

Hehehe No matter how cool tactical shooting is (like 2 gun action), there are still a few things that airsoft brings to the table (like using supressing fire and seeing it's effect, getting to know your equipment under a different kind of stress. testing of tactics...) Great demonstration guys!
