In this video we revisit a little video we shot a couple summers ago at the farm. When hitting the steel targets gets too easy, what do you do?
Shoot 12oz cans of course.

Communication is so important. Like you said, correction info will be wrong if you don't know where the trigger broke. The shooter has to be honest and humble and say whether he was holding directly at whatever target reference or if he detected that his trigger squeeze pulled a little. A lot of guys want to state that they are so good at shooting and will not admit when they might have had a slightly off squeeze. Or even a slap. It must be the ammo or the gun or the optics. Usually, 98 percent of the time, it is the shooter.

You got that right. If you want to make these types of shots on a windy day, you need to check the ego at the door and have your communication figured out ahead of time. That wind NEVER stops changing. You saw, we didn't wait for some calm day to go do this. We picked a day to get together and have some fun and by the time Aaron got the cans out, the wind was honking. Not ideal conditions. I was shooting experimental loads in my 6.5-284 with N560 and N565 trying to pick a winner. Which I couldn't. They both shot amazing. Aarons 6.5 Creed load was pretty polished already. Using N550.

@@LittleCrowGunworks What has also been educational for me is watching the Texas Plinking channel for the 1 MOA at 1k yards event. Guys with hand built rigs and handloaded cartridges and expensive glass getting their backsides handed back to them like 10 pounds of lime jello on a cracked porcelain plate. That Texas wind will humble a guy. Seriously, premium barrel and action with a aftermarket trigger. And they are struggling against the kid who had a resurrected Mosin Nagant and an Arken scope.
