I'm always impressed with the depth of thought that you put into every session I see you do. Sculpting the face with the multiple small light sources. Pulling more out a session than you should be able to with only a back pack's worth of gear. Always amazing Mr. Miranda, always amazing.

well if youre gonna fly across the world with a buncha gear for an opportunity to work with such an established entity in the industry Id hope we all would feel compelled to think a little harder about what else we can do with what we got before its gone forever THanks as always Robbie

I would like to see more of these kind of content. Seth has such a unique style and I love how he evolves his shots. I felt this was an hour long seminar with all the content, very inspiring. Maybe Seth could do a Gavin shoot, an episode just as Gavin does. I think that would be really fun. Who doesn't love Gavin?

Seth - Awesome video. It's great to see how you can create so many distinct styles from the kit in your bag. It's a very niche area of photography which many of us will never pursue but the techniques, ideas and quick thinking is something we can all learn. You know I even love the lighting in your apartment with the blue back light which really makes you pop. Keep them coming.

Hey, Seth, great video as always. How do you get this three-dimensionality? Does the full-format sensor turn off part of it? (I ask because I am photographing with Fuji - APS C). Will you do a tutorial on this one? Thanks for the insights into your work and all the best.

I'm guessing it's the lights and makeup that bring out that 3D effect - sculpting with the light to bring definition and playing with those color gels to give your eye more information about the contours of the fake and makeup. He could probably get that look with a potato and flash sync cord from 1985. I mean, that's all my guess. Was there something in particular you found extra 3d?

@@shifteleven 4:35 and then the not foggy ones. they really pop out of my Mac screen. After Joe McNally, Seth is a wizard of light to me. There's always a little bit more in the photos than you usually see. At least, that's how I feel.

thank you Andreas Im really referring to the lighting pattern when it comes to not having a "flat look" its our perception based on shadow patterns, gradients and other things in our control to "scuplt" our subjects which is what I aim for a lot with these types of shoots
