I love them, no matter what gender they are, they should include everyone, in my case I am a man or an alien, but who cares about that. Music is music and the concept is understood
I really liked the energy and music here, nice performance and filming too. But , trying to define the 'rules' in the hardcore scene is quite the opposite of what hardcore and punk are originally made of.
I think what they called the rules apply to every nind of gigs or festivals. Its not that there is rules or something, it's to remind men, in particular for this song, to behave better with the other.s gender.s. Not that all men are abusers, but mostly the majority of abusers are men. We can't call this scene a ""safe place"" if we dont include the others. It mean include women and behave like they are humans, not meat or something we can own.
@@VIOLENTMOTION Thanx for you answer, I get your point here. But as a "non abuser man" and a respectful person, I just see a quite authoritarian tone here which i find really not in phase with hardcore and punk rock mentallity. At least for me , that's the opposite of what I was looking for 20 years ago when I joined this scene. From where I come from girls have always been more than welcome in the scene, but maybe they are right and that's not the case everywhere, I don't know. I don't feel the need to be educated to respect by 20 years old people, men or women.
@@KarimTale yes you maybe, but not all men are as respectful as you claim to be. And to be honest, the hardcore scene is a Boys Club, no matter what we say, we film almost 100 shows per year, and the scene is composed, maybe a third, by women. What i mean is, what is the most punk stuff that à woman can do over patriarchy ? Reverse the table and deceide what's good for them and it was already the case 20 years ago, just now they tell the whole world to gf ourselves if we disagree. Hardcore scene can not be dissociated from feminist and anti-capitalist fights.
@@VIOLENTMOTION I agree that girls are and were a large minority in the hardcore scene and that is and was a shame. I'm feeling that more and more girls are truly involved in the scene and that' s nice. But I can't agree with you saying that hardcore can not being dissociated with feminism or anti-capitalism I mean, you know the NYHC scene as I do, it was more like a street thing with a social awareness and against authority and social order. If that's how you see it I totally respect that and everyone is free to bring his heart and beliefs in the scene but come on man, Agnostic front, warzone, cro mags,Madball (not even talking about Bulldoze or old Fury of V or the Cleveland hardcore scene) were not into that. At least they were not politicized this way. At this period the more activist side of hardcore was the vegan straight edge one. Anyway , everyone is free to bring his soul into the scene but I still feel some athoritarian tone that hurts my hears. I still don't feel the need to be educated to respect...
