Yaar Sucharita, tum jaadu ho yaar! The way you express your thoughts, as a writer, I understand how much time and effort went into brining that level of clarity! I admire hard workers, and you are a gem among them. Hard work always pays off and you will be on your way to 1 million subs in no time. My only wish is that if I got to hang out with you, talk with you and understand what goes on in that beautiful mind of yours! Until then, Love you loads and looking forward to your next video!
It was a pleasant way to really get introduced to Aditya Chopra in his own words. His dedication about movies, his way of thinking, working was such a pleasure to understand and get a glimpse of. To get these celebrities to bring out the experiences of being part of a YRF universe and just the pure joy they had working with Yash Chopra was wonderful. Thanks Suchitra for being unique and bringing the real questions out! Kudos! ✨🌻
Exactly veer-zara was yashji's best work after Darr.. I kinda was ok if they didn't include Dil to pagal hai.. but a documentary dedicated to Yash Chopra and not mention veer- Zara is a crime.. they wasted a full episode on Uday chora and nepotism..
I watched 3-4 interviews of Smirti so far. Everyone asked the same question but this girl this channel always does it differently loved this interview! She asked what I as a commoner wanted to know what was it like to enter Shahrukh's home and all such real questions! Love this!
Bro they talked about 6 or 7 srk movies although I am disappointed as well about not talking about those movies but the problem was every srk movie with yrf is iconic and they have to miss a few one
That's the thing.. it wasn't about Yash Chopra.. it was about Aditya Chopra and how he is saving or have saved the industry.. it is just made to justify Nepotism and to attract Boycott gang.. Isse kehte hai Propoganda documentary
@@prasad13mane docu series was about celebrating 50 years of yrf and they had to cover whole 50 years and I didn't get the impression that they were justifying nepotism your opinion can be different
Glad you actually spoke about it, i don't know why the series felt more like JUST highlighting SRK, man the tiger franchise and even sushant's films have been a core part of yrf with legit 0 mention. Imagine Chake de being mentioned while the tiger series having no mention (no kabir khan as well) which actually led to the creation of their spy universe
I was so happy to see you were doing this interview. Your critiques were on target ( as usual) and I new nothing about her, so that was interesting as well. As a Yashji and ShahRukh mega fan I learned things I didn't know ( which is rare). Thank you! ( btw you and I met in New York with Zen; )
I am quite late to this interview. Sucharita you always make your subject feel so comfortable! So invariably all your interviews seem like a conversation between friends. I always save the interviews you post. . .so that I can savour them later ❤. Hope you do more of them.
Unnecessary people were given attention. Action movies happened in 2000s because of Salman in yrf. Showed ranveer singh like he saved yrf. I wish they spoke about music of yrf. Yashji was known for his great taste in music. And Veer Zara is a timeless music piece. Tere liye in this movie has major history and this documentary missed what it had to show. We got it that Aditya took over as the prodigal son.... But we wanted to know how Yashji in the fast paced new age movie made his last Jab Tak hai Jaan on more extended length.
Nice interview.. nice show ..The eery relevance of the section of the show to current times, where they describe the kind of cinema which got made during 80s, partly due to what brought in movie goers to cinema halls , partly due to advent of VCRs etc .. Wish you discussed this aspect in the interview too
They didn't mention Veer Zaara at all. I was so excited to understand the filmmaking process of Yash Chopra jee. No doubt it was good to hear Aditya Chopra but they give him more importance than Yash Chopra. From where Uday Chopra got that weird accent though?
This might be out of context but I really admire your personality and would really like to know a bit about how you found your partner and knew he was the one. If it disturbs your personal space then it's okay but if you're up to the maybe you could make a video.
Mine was epi 1 as well!! Rest was meh. Poor Uday being used as a scapegoat. Love the fact you asked about Salman Khan not being there. I actually I might have missed it. My made up conspiracy theory is Salman walked off after 5 mins because he got bored so they don't have any footage at all. 😂
The Yash Chopra? Pam wedding scenes were truly nostalgic. I was a freshman in college and was at the wedding in Delhi. Pamela is one of the sweetest, nicest and kindest person I have ever met.
1:40 Not buying that reason, not one bit!! We are talking about the Salman Khan! How an you find place for Bhumi Pednekar and Lily Singh in your edit and not SK? The true reason must be something else, for sure. Why don't people ever want to speak the truth?
It turned out to be Aditya Chopra first appearance then a tribute to the great Yash Chopra They needed to give more footage about his best work including Veer Zaara
Definitely could have been edited better. Like I didn’t particularly didn’t need to so much Ranveer’s audition or uday’s struggle. There’s already a lot about this out there. Getting Amitabh & Rekha to do silsila together, dil toh pagal hai & veer zaara should have definitely been covered. Plus most yrf’s recent movies being failures is also a good one to explore. Only their spy movies are working right now.
@@SucharitaTyagi kuch nai, sansaar ka niyam hi hai..chadhte sooraj ko salaam.. lage raho 🤟🏼🤟🏼 This observation apart, I really admire your work n efforts you have put in to build yourself a name …Kudos to your hard work..Keep Going Gal😀
Please Sucharita try not to be so condescending of other artists when you heap praise one few others. I understand you have favourites but as a film critic (if that’s what you call yourself) you need to have fair judgement. I only clicked on this interview due to the director of Romantics being interviewed. But guess I will not do that again for a Sucharita interview.
Why did some actors skipped 🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫🚫 Aish Kareena Karishma Shahid Rekha Etc My mind is just not able to contemplate 😢😢😢😢😢 Why on earth would UDAY put up a fake accent? Whyyyyyyyy? You make Hindi films but want to show off English accent? We need season 2 🥲
It definitely fell like this was made by an NRI. It was a good attempt but missing out movies like veer Zara n Dil to pagal he. Like u r telling me there was no story behind that. Not a chance
I loved the show but I am going to sue the makers. HOW CAN YOU NOT SHOW THE MAKING OF VEER-ZAARA? Sorry, but it is a crime in my books. I was jumping like a kid when they mentioned Veer-Zaara and was waiting to see some BTS and hear some anecdotes. I am sorry but is absolutely unforgivable💔
Forgot to mention salman's movie ek that tiger yrf's first movie to cross 100cr in India and 150cr in India and Aditya should have been asked why did not work with salman khan for so many years
Was it a tribute to Yash Chopra or was it to glorify Aditya Chopra and YRF. There was NO mention of some of the amazing films Yash Chopra made. Aditya Chopra might have agreed doing this because it was done by a NRI not sure if he would have given the same access to an Indian,an upcoming filmmaker wanting to do this. Hypocrites!
Not a great documentary. Could have been much better. Missed out a lot of the good stuff. Did not mention some very iconic films. Seems poorly researched. There are many great NRI directors. This lady is simply not up to the mark.
I am sorry but cutting Salman Khan is Wrong! U cut THE SALMAN KHAN!? how can that be justified!?? U had loadsa ayushman khurana footage and Ranveer wth
Okay why is this doc getting so much marketing lmao. Who tf is Adi Chopra and why are we treating him like Tarantino of the east lmao man doesn't even direct films. What was the last relevant film he funded that wasn't carried by the star name lmao. Even promotions of a comeback film like Pathaan was so mediocre. Yrf is what it is because of Yash chopra.
Aditya Chopra made a debut movie which is has been running in the cinemas since 1995. He is the one who modernised the legacy that Yash Raj created. Yrf ruled the early 2000s and 2010s under Aditya's leadership so yeah he pretty much made most of our childhood memories growing up. He isn't Tarantino but he is an important part of Yrf and Indian cinema.
