In Vermont there were people who shot moose this year ( which is legal but only with a license that is very hard to obtain), and some one in our county shot one and said; “ this is the biggest deer ever!..,” he tried to report it and tag it at a local gas station. The moose was taken from him by the county’s game warden and given to a butcher. This guy also lost his license for 2 seasons. The first time I heard that I almost died laughing! Good job Braydon!

Congrats man! Those are both studs! My dad shot a buck that weighed 241 gutted and it was after the rut so. It would have been around 300 pounds live weight. Another guy in my county shot a 258 at the beginning of the season and a different guy shot one that was 262.

I hunt in North Central IL and there probably aren't as many big bucks as in the far southwestern counties of IL, but there are still many monsters- I have shot a few and know many others who have as well. Every year I see them and have them on camera, sometimes I get one and sometimes I don't but they are out there in Northern IL (at least north central, can't speak for the far northern counties).

I just recently shot my first buck with my uncle in south texas he was a 12 point he was missing his tine he broke it off but he scored 154 but if he had his tine fully he would have been 165

I’m 12 I understand you shooting the older buck and either way you put him out of his misery and it was a quick pretty painless death good job and nice deer.
