I'm from Philadelphia and most of them were just playing it up for the camera, as soon as any one of them is faced with 10+ years in prison then he'll snitch on any and everyone out there.

I found it more funny is that when the police officer was speaking, they all shut the hell up knowing that everything he said was 100% true.

I love how that one dude asks in such a condescending manner if the police are looking for the person who shot their mate, only for the cop to point that none of them snitch so how can they conduct a successful investigation when no one is talking.

My nephew was born in these neighborhoods, but he was adopted by my aunt in Holland when he was still a baby. I can't describe how happy I am he didn't have to be raised there, I didn't even know gang violence was that big of a problem in Philadelphia

I'm one of the black Americans who had opportunities. I'm 27, with a 777 credit score, own a home, make $6,000 a month + $3500 from real estate. I was adopted so I have a married 2 parent black household, I grew up in a predominantly white neighborhood, my mom had her Masters and could help with homework, my dad taught me to drive, I played sports and stayed out of trouble. For 1 semester of high school I moved to Brooklyn New York and my grades plummeted In Seattle I was told AGAIN and AGAIN the importance of education. In New York I lived in a broken home with an alcoholic mom who did drugs. The only thing that sets me apart from being one of these guys on the street corner is the value system instilled in me and the expectation of my environment. I ended up hopeless in college, Joined the military Finished my BA Applied for Job after job Finally found a life changing career. I have a wife, we just had twins. So this isn't s race thing it's something abstract that only individuals can strive to change and it won't be easy. In fact watch this video makes me feel like it's helpless for you guys but I'll always hold all blacks to a high standard If you want something to change you need to do it for yourself Government won't do it for you . HARD WORK, DEDICATION, OPPORTUNITY, PREPARATION, THE BELIFE IN ONSELF & THE CONSISTENT WILL TO WANT IT.

The stigma around being a "snitch" is what keeps people and their communities from moving forward. It breeds disorganization and enables violence which hurts an entire community. No one is going to invest in you if your community is in shambles. Jobs go away and you remain isolated. You will remain a poor powerless people because of your mentality.
