No, just the mode of play you see here. It's a perfect game for those who don't want to spend an hour or more on a medium-to-high-complexity game but who also don't want a quick-play game that just generates final scores.

It's a misprint, his save range should be 4-11.

Haven't played dice in ages but I believe you add 6 "dice roll numbers" or 10 "numeric numbers", i.e. a range of 11-16 becomes 11-26.

There is part 2 and 3 of this series plus a full game play-through on my channel. Life is getting in the way of making new videos right now.

I have done several full season replays and got realistic results. Here is a thread on my replay of the 1973-74 Flyers and Seals: forums.delphiforums.com/shootout/messages/?msg=75.1 Stats can be found at the end of the thread. I have also replayed the 1977-78 Red Wings and Cleveland Barons as well as the full 1943-44 season. If you scroll through the replay section of that forum you'll find the writeups and stats for those projects also. You can certainly mix up the lines anyway you want. I usually consider a forward from another line to be playing the point in place of one of the defensemen on the powerplay.

@@giacomobreschi2316 -Strat produces realistic results too but it is a medium complexity game as compared to Shootout which is low complexity. Strat has individual player cards, faceoffs, defense ratings, intimidation, etc. and more decision-making. Strat takes an hour to play where Shootout takes 15 minutes.

You can pull the goalie in the last 4 minutes of the game. Each action card draw is one minute in this case; you disregard the timer reading and read directly off the box labeled "6th" in the lower right hand corner of the action card. Three possible results: no action; a goal for the team with the 6th attacker; or an empty net goal against the team with the 6th attacker.

Hi Olli, it prints 3 teams to a page. The 1970's decade set for example, is 5 pages of teams.

either 65-lb. or 110-lb. card stock works well.

You can put the PDF file on a flash drive and take it to an office supply store like Staples, Kinko's, etc. and have them print the cards on 65- or 110-lb card stock.
