What a eye candy this is!!! I love when all of you combine everything and include a video on it!!! it's amazing!! I went nuts when I saw the touhou one ahhaha Amazing!!!!!!
I was one of the workers on Jermas Dollhouse and I personally created the “Choose a Jerma” segment for the stream, so seeing it parodied here with fucking Omori blew my fucking mind, especially since I’ve been a massive fan for years. Thanks SiIva!
@@CaptainCFalcon I've been a fan since the Chad Warden and SiIva Reboot arcs, so Ive been around for a while lol. Never thought Id see something I made parodied in a Fusion Collab of all things
8:22 The level of accuracy to actual gameplay is insane. The player accidentally swings too far away from the item, failing to purchase it. Moves a bit closer, mashes the button, purchases the item, and gets locked out of over-purchasing. Pretty sure everyone who's ever played this game has done that.
@@catguythe3rd758 all the same, it's a great touch that they kept that imperfect take instead of reshooting it. It both made it look more natural and padded out the time for the part to finish
I like how we’re more impressed by someone from the team going outside to film in Home Depot than the insane modeling & animation work in the rest of the vid
Actually, those kinds of barriers are generally placed at the entrance once the store is closed, so it would have to be an actual Home Depot employee recording after store hours.
@@esotericasystem In other words, there'e at least 2 people that actually work at the same Home Depot on the Siivagunner team, which makes it even more impressive than the animators on the rest of the project, since that was a coincidence that just lined up perfectly for this video.
Maybe they’re better at acting instead of animating. The bar was set so high for animating a realistic videogame shop experience by the previous animators.
@@thatguyfromthebush just said that it wasn't as accurate as OP said and therefore it was bad. Which while it may not be completely accurate, it is by no means a bad animation, and the way they talked about it was just unnecessarily rude
It's wild that the Wii Shop Channel really did actually let you travel across different videogame universes like this, no wonder so many people were sad about its closing All of the art is done so nicely, I love the dedication shown here, there was a great variety of games used, and that Wii Shop Bling finale was (deservedly) insane
I'm absolutely floored by the Earthbound/Cuphead animation. The amount of love and dedication it must've taken to make the animation look as convincing as possible doesn't get enough praise. Also I love the little hidden secrets in the background. Extremely underrated part of the collab!
Yeah, the Earthbound portion I rewinded at least 3 times when I first watched it just to take it all in. The bubbly animation of the cashier alone entranced me, let alone everything else in the shot.
It's insane how much effort went into making each game's characters and items cross over into the previous one, it's so cool and well done! and the parappa x zelda cdi part was absolutely amazing LOL
I'm so impressed with how well they did inscryption- I have a feeling they modded the game to make it look that good because there's no way they could have made something that good looking from scratch.
The Splatoon x Dead Estate shop was unbelievable. Someone made that model. Someone did All That Shit for a twenty second bit for a Siivagunner video. Same shit with Messenger x Home Depot. And the Drake at the end is such a deep cut at this point that it took me the second watch to even get the joke. S-tier collab. I'll take it for 2.50$.
@@moonsweaterIt might also be a reference to the time when Drake (as "Wii Shop Bling") appeared as a boss character in the "Temporary Flight Attendant" tournament, which is one of the many musical tournaments that took inspiration from KFAD. Ok, so it probably isn't that, but wouldn't that be a REAL deep cut?
Something that I appreciate and which is NOT easy to pull off, is how this collab doesn't just keep the flow of the music going from one game to another, it keeps the VIBES consistent. There's basically no sharp, jarring jumps from games with an upbeat vibe to games with a dark one, or from chill to high-tempo. There's a steady progression down in... not quite "tempo", that's a precise musical term, but overall energy from the top with the Wii Shop channel, then down into about Isaac/Hollow Knight/Darkwood, and then back up from there. It's REALLY important to the overall success of a combined piece like this, and I appreciate it immensely.
I died at Crazy Dave x Morshu turning the video into a YTP lmao, also Drake in ZUN's art style was epic. Props to the people who made the Splatoon x Dead Estate segment, literally looks like something ripped from the actual game. Also Harmony looks so good in the Scott Pilgrim vs the World art style.
As someone who's played Splatoon for a while, some stuff is weird (line spacing and some other font stuff, along with lighting namely), but it's still VERY close to real and wouldn't be shocked if it was modded and not animated
I just realized now that the amount of money the player has is consistent throughout the whole video and changes whenever something is bought. Now THAT'S dedication.
@@AllisonEvergardenhat one is cool too, but, ehhh, you know. Edit: I take it back, that's awesome. I feel ashamed of myself by saying this part was the best one.
funny how currencies work in different games like thats an INSANE amount of money to have in isaac and then it cuts to like splatoon and then its like "eh ok"
This comment made me realize the money is synced up throughout the video. I've rewatched this dozens of times and never caught that! It's crazy how much detail there is
IKR, I thought Metaware was gonna be lost to time but they managed to make it despite the finished game totally having a shop in it. Same for dweller's empty path, tho I guess being related to toby fox in the slightest can cement your creation in the internet Dead estate is also a really niche title but they did modelling and everything for the splatoon segment.

I like how Moneybags doesn't even have a proper shop theme, but he's such a memorable shopkeeper that they put him in anyways. Midnight mountain was such a good choice for him considering that's where you get to beat him up.
@@literallyn01imp0rtant There's no particular shop theme for Darkwood either. In fact, the Hollow Knight x Darkwood segment doesn't even seem to have characters or items from Darkwood, more just a character who captures that game's feel and a Hollow Knight-ified Darkwood essential.
@@Lucien_M Jerma x Omori used "The Heart of the Desert", the overworld theme of Orange Oasis from Omori. The Omori x Spyro part used a remix of the theme that plays in Spyro 2 when you chase Moneybags around and beat him up to get back all your money.
I really have to give a huge applause to everyone who worked on both music and art for this, what a fun video and Fusion Collab! The effort that went into it is very noticeable and appreciated!
Out of all of these, Morshu really got the spotlight. I mean, he even appeared in Crazy Dave's part, whilst also being the most prominent in the thumbnail and end screen
This might very well be my favorite Siivagunner project... EVER. Up there with KFAD. ABSOLUTELY gigantic props to everyone who worked on that, and I'm SUPER glad that everyone is credited!
this is absolutely amazing. all of the mods/animations/edits were amazing. i LOVED seeing hom seriously treated the darker games' themes were and how well the different characters looked in the styles of these games, GOSH THIS WAS SUCH A GOOD COLLAB LIKE WHAAAAATTTTT
13:48 She is saying 黙れ悪魔!アンタを倒して幻想郷を元に戻す! Pronounced: Damare, akuma! Anta o taoshite Gensogyo o moto ni modosu! This roughly translates to “Shut up, devil! I’ll defeat you and restore Gensokyo!” Gensokyo is the land and setting in which Touhou takes place.
I absolutely LOVE Fusion Collabs that aren’t specifically one song, but instead a central concept of a song. Kinda like the “Boss Battle” one we got a few years back!
@@archadiuss7648 In order it goes Windows Licking - OFF Shop - FNF Hypno's Lullaby Greed - Binding of Isaac (og) Dirtmouth - Hollow Knight Morning - Darkwood Lantern - Deltarune Meet the Merchant - Slay the Spire
My favorite was both TWEWY segments! Love what the sprite artists did for Tower Records in the style of The Messenger, and the art for Chimata and the party portraits in NEO's style is so cute. Great work to everyone of course
This was a really well made fusion collab! The morshu/parappa segment was unexpected but amazing, the ocarina of time jerma shop got a laugh out of me, and it was nice to see a game like dweller's empty path get some recognition. The amount of attention to detail in the environments and character interactions sold the idea of shopkeepers selling their wares in foreign game worlds perfectly and it really shows just how much effort went into this collab from everyone who was involved. Also, the hotline bling wii shop rip returning was an awesome nod to a classic piece of siivagunner history
It’s funny because it implies that Drake either did something or played a part in an incident there. Even funnier that she just calls him a demon, implying that Drake turned into a youkai. Hm. 😂
11:54 While was was to hung this I enjoyed puzzling out which game each shopkeeper was from and had been on a winning streak and so was trying really hard during this part to remember a game where there was a Home Depot and then the segment switched and I lost it
Started freaking out when I saw the Reggae Cameleon from Parappa because I knew what was coming next, but absolutely lost my mind when it was Morshu, lmao. This whole thing was incredible and those 14 minutes just were not enough.
Nahhh hold up - the fact that the money stays consistent is obvious, and I love it. But the fact that after buying the first item it says you have 37 inventory slots left, and you buy 37 more items total, which not only drains your funds completely, but also fills your inventory completely, is such a nice touch. Clearly this was a work of passion, and we all appreciate it.
The isaac/hollow knight collaber really donated 2 cents to the dono machine/fountain just to flex the insane consistency of the amount of money across all settings, bravo!
Wow this level of quality is just, insane. The concept of swapping the shopkeepers from each game is already a banger idea, but the recreation of every game looks so dang authentic. I love this channel and congrats to everyone involved
Happily surprised to see the Persona 2 representation, P2 is my favorite game of all time and seeing it in the Pokémon style which is my childhood favorite game really made my day
my jaw hit the FLOOR. at the cuphead animated section. Absolutely insane props to whoever made that scene and to everyone else for the entire rest too ofc but wow that cuphead scene
wow, seam in the style of Darkwood looked absolutely incredible. he really fits the grungy, decrepit aesthetic, especially with that unnerving description and haunting music
This is such an original idea. Merchants from videogames in the styles of other games with the next style being the game that the merchant came from with some memes & a live action sketch mixed in as well. I love it!
I can't be the only one who cried at this, right? So many games I have loved, so much nostalgia, packaged together so beautifully... laughter and tears.
I’m so glad you guys decided to do another one of these “relay Fusion Collabs.” I loved the Boss Battle Fusion Collab, and this is even MORE high-quality. You guys just keep finding ways to outdo yourselves on these fusion collabs.
How many times have I watched this and I only just now noticed: The amount of money is kept through every transition... A little is spent in each shop until the last purchase spends the last... currency point. Who even thought to track the money spent in each segment? It's genius! Heck, in the "Crypt of the Home depot", Cadence leaves with 2483... In the Home Depot x Messenger section, a $100 bill is handed over. Then the Messenger x World Ends With You segment starts with 2383.
It really makes you appreciate every shop we've ever had throughout the generations. It's like a mutual thing that unites so many games, to have a groovin shop.
I haven’t seen many comments about it yet, so I just wanted to point this one as being really cool 6:05 was really neat, especially with the ambience. This was probably the one I expected the least to be on here, it was just nice seeing it. Something about seeing a mod based off of a Creepypasta make it into one of these videos is just amazing. Great job!
There are so many amazing references in this like the Cuphead X EarthBound segment, the CDi Zelda X Parappa mashup, the Necrodancer Home Depot bit… Amazing! 😂
