Awesome! Two suggestions: 1) water buckets for your grinders 2) a screen for keeping your projects free of grinder sparkles. Simple room divider type. Rolling coat rack w welders screen would likely work.

Anytime you can hang out with your friends and accomplish something is time well spent Puddin and not have to worry about child labor laws. This builder took his problem and made it yours by adding elevation to make his construction viable without any regards to your business and property. I definitely wonder how a city inspector didn’t see this example of taking his problem and making it yours. But you have your reasons for not pushing the issue. This is why your channel has become so popular you’re just a guy doing what you love to do build cars and develop content for your audience and a veteran which I can relate with. Just a thought, the alcove area between the old and new part of the shop, a modest size overhang in the back of that open space between the two, make the area back at the wall in to a mini patio. Just have to anchor / bolt everything down so the tweakers don't try to walk off with anything.

I hate to say, but that's exactly what I suggested back when you were putting in all that work to decorate your garage. It just makes sense, you do all your work in the big shop. Regardless, I enjoy all your videos. Glad that you are finally back to fabbing stuff. CMON!

Idea. Build another mini box truck. Or put a small block in one you already have. Then do a drive and drag like sick week. You could haul all your stuff in the box, no trailer needed.

If ya turn that table now ninety degrees where it is , youu wont lose a car space but you will make the fab area of the workshop side a lot more efficient in space and access. Time will tell if you happen to see the same vision I now have? It's completely amazing to see what you are achieving with the channels and everything else that is your bread & butter. Always happy to come and see you being a real ass like all real people are. When we're alone we're all the same as you Puddin' in our own ways. Dancin, shadow boxin singing and being a closet smartass about things in a jovial style. meanwhile havin' a heart and a head and spirit inside! Someday for the model A has come and gone. Sorry to hear about the retaining wall situation, but your smart to have it done to your standards and not the builders. They would for sure do it the cheapest way they can.

Sounds like it is time that you make yourself a hot rod welding cart... I make mine from old vintage tool boxes or cabinets. I put an angle iron base big enough to hold the bottle on one side with some vintage slick lawn tractor wheels on he bottle side and some smaller fat castors on the other side... Plus of course a nice swinging handle that folds away...

Why not move the fab equip to the first bay and bump the chassis to the last bay. A special fab spot with its own door is still a great idea

Now that you using your new shop, you now know what you need to do to rejigger you shop to the way you’re actually using it. I had a feeling at the time the fab shop location was probably going to be too far from the cars in work.

When you were organizing the shop originally I thought you should put the fab shop equipment where the bench was. But like you, I thought the bench looked cool there.

I learned cad and how to run plasma table software in about 3 days and I love having the option. Buy another table and just take the time, you'll figure it out quicker than you think. We'll worth it

Get with VGG and have him set you up with the people who built his Plasma Table, I’m sure he’d help ya figure out how to set it up and such. Be a cool video for the both of ya.
