This beloved Christmas story was written by my ancestor, Clement Clarke Moore. Extra special with this legacy of Santa and his reindeer. Hi Mary Beth! Last year I thrifted an assortment of very well priced smaller Mikasa to gift to friends along with some treats. Adorned with festive bows they made a thrifty yet classy gift to be reused every year. The fun was in the hunt for them at various thrift stores.

I purchased the tablecloth, centerpiece compote, Waterford pitcher, and beaded garland. They needed the table exposed since it is for sale. I helped them set a Fall table while there. They found a shop owned table to use.

Probably not a good sign when you keep seeing your nineteen-sixties wedding gifts on these wonderful thrift shop videos, today it was the cheese untensils which unlike mine looked new in the box, by Regent Sheffield Stainless England, never precious with the leaf print on an ivory looking plastic handle, always makes me wonder why they did not use them, everyone had cheese trays at parties in the sixties and seventies, usually on an oak or walnut cheese tray. Beautiful tablescape.😊
