SHOP SUCKS, BUT WHAT ELSE DID WE EXPECT? Fortnite Item Shop [April 2nd, 2024] (Fortnite Chapter 5) 

The only positive outcome to these item shops, is how much money everyone gets to save.

Italk, lego fortnite is the reason the shops are trash since december... same shitty skins and emotes rotated through the whole 4 months for like 30 times now... u need to talk about it and bring more attention to it cause ppl barely notice that its lego's fault :/. And the fix is simple too.. just add daily & featured back ffs

Lego Fortnite KILLED the Item Shop. They removed the bundles (which creates more FOMO) and every skin that has no Lego style, instead of creating two different Item Shops. It's a disaster. Bring the old Item Shop and locker UI back Epic!!!

Idk how many months the shops have been like this, and idk how long they'll stay this way for, but i hope its just made people realise that there is a very, VERY good reason why people complain, arguing otherwise just causes an arguement that is entirely unnecessary when epic alone are 100% at fault with these shops. (I mean ask yourself this question: have you genuinely preferred the items shops from before or after chapter 5?) I mean, people can say that "you shouldn't complain about a digital shop" or, "you shouldn't ask for variety when there's nothing you want" but 1. Some people will prefer certain variety that i and others may not. 2. Some people know what they want, they know it can be released and they know that it just isn't simply becuase the shops are too repetitive And 3. Its a business, if they want to stagnante their main source of money by changing nothing, releasing the same things and cramming the shops then its no suprise that many people are mad or are at least sick of seeing the same shops again, and again and again, this isnt a business strategy, its a mistake, one which has perpetuated for months and has finally caused infighting among the community. To simply, yes, you can make an arguement that says that the shops are fine as they are and that people shouldn't keep complaining about it when they dont really know what they want outside of change, but at the same time, for every one arguement made in favour of today's shops, at least 3 more can be made to counter it, people complain about the shops because they genuinely see a problem with it, and ik two seasons ago people were complaining about the exact opposite problem, but when you jump from one extreme to another, no shit you leave people annoyed and, unsurprisingly, people will complain even if it seems hypocritical, the fact that its been stuck like this for months, in what is objectively its worst form in years only tells the community that they either arent being listened to, or that they haven't done enough to get epic to see the problem.

I hate how the only 3 easter skins that didn’t return are the ones that I wanted the most, and I hate how they haven’t released all cosmetics during holidays since ch5, they pulled the same shit during valentines day

Shops should only be once a week at this point lol

Fn needs to start looking at items that haven't rotated in months or years and start sprinkling them in. Whenever we have a dry shop like this, you should point out some cosmetics that haven't been out in a long time that coulda made the rotation more interesting. Maybe they'll see and start getting some ideas 😏

I really miss tho old shop layout. It was small and organized and didn't feel overloaded 24/7. And the items actually rotated out.

Another day another bad shop. Hopefully soon we see either Kratos, the 3 remaining new shop skins left in the files which is Charon, Curious, and Hael, or one of the returning bundles which are Darkfire and Snakes and Stones return soon, just anything to make it interesting. I think since Korra became available to obtain today that they didn’t want any of the above options to outshine her in anyway.
