I have a 2013 Roubaix Sport and love it. Even though mine is a lower end Roubaix using the SL2 frame it's still awesome . 1780miles so far . Getting a new Mavic wheel set soon to make it even better. Awesome bike even the entry level Roubaix is awesome!
Hello… i have a question. I am looking for reviews on the 2001 specialized s-works M4 roadbike. It seems there isn’t enough content on the model. Me being a fan of “vintage” bikes, i am interested in knowing the engineering thinking behind that alloy frame, and what riders think of it. So if u could share some knowledge for me i’ll be thanful. I believe it is a solid design alluminium frame, and i wanna build upon it with newer components.
for 2012 SL3 Pro Compact, SRAM Red - what is the bottom bracket size? (Please don't say "OSBB"... that has caused A great debate with no conclusion in the web-o-sphere!)
I bought an 07 Roubaix a couple of months ago & I'm really enjoying it. What did you do to yours? I'm considering switching out my rear cassette to an Ultegra 12/30. It has a 12/27 currently I think but I'd like that lower gear. I changed my tires from 23mm to 25 mm. I'd love to put 28mm tires on but I'm pretty sure there's not enough clearance.
What is the difference between the Roubaix and Secteur? What are they made for? I like speed, but considering spending long time over the bike, I prefer comfort! That´s why I´m not sure about its differences!
Diogo Fraga MSRP 770$ US for entry level 2015 model. If you're in luck you might get a 2014 (or older) model for cheaper at your local shop. There are other options around 950$ - 1600$. I used to be in the same position as you, i was on a 500$ mountain bike doing 90% of yearly mileage on roads. After 7000+ km i realized i needed a road bike because i enjoyed endurance and climbing more than trail riding. I picked up a roubaix in 2012 with a 600$ rebate because it wasn't the latest model. I have absolutely no regrets, i couldn't see myself without that bike!. My cousin owns the Allez Comp version from a few years back (retailed at around 1600$) and still rides it to this day (with a few upgrades of course).
