SAFETY TIP: I forgot to mention in the video, but my saw was unplugged, as yours should be whenever it's not being used.
Hey there, friendlies! Months ago, I asked in a livestream if I should start a second channel for workshop-related stuff, or just set up a special playlist on my main channel. thanks for this! For the life of me, the directions in my manual were not easy to follow along with. This video has now made me confident I can change the blade!! I just started woodworking around the summer of 2019 and am loving every aspect!! Well minus the dust and sawdust clean up. These types of videos are a godsend!!

My biggest woodworking project so far has been my bench. It took me like two years because I have to work around family, youtubing and my band. I love looking at it and soaking up the feeling of accomplishment. Are you youtubing your woodworking journey?

Good job. I have a MC maximum. It's a little simpler as there's a hole to access the screw in upright position. Your video did help me find all the pieces though 👍👍

Question, is that a carbide tip blade? Sub question, if not will you attempt to sharpen the blade?

Serge Belso the regular blade is carbide tipped. Not sure about the other. I’ll check on it...

It’s not a chop saw, it’s called a MITER saw. Chop saws DO NOT miter. They’re two different tools.

+Taylormade2350 That’s true. Most of the guys I know only really make the distinction when talking about one that doesn’t miter, though. Maybe I erred on the colloquial side a bit too much.
