It is great to see a Shop Til' You Drop with Mark L. Wahlberg as announcer before Dee. Mainly since Mark hosted the GSN original Russian Roulette in 2002 - 2003.
@Everybody[particularly Chris Bryant] here, yes, back then, 1993's "Shop 'Til You Drop" game show had Mr. Patrick "Pat" J. Finn as its previous host just as his former studio announcer there was Mr. Mark L. Walberg!

This must be the 301st episode of the series and I know for a fact that this wasn't the 1st episode of Season 3 (1993). This episode was from the fifth to the final week and aired on August 30, 1993 on Lifetime.
Wow!! From the lifetime season where they raised the limit of spending from $1000 to $2500. I hope we don't declare any technical wins in the comments. There weren't any technical wins even 20 years ago on the show!!!
What a daft game! The "friends" win a double bed. Okay 🤨. One of the games the contestants are bound to get it wrong as it wasn't gender specific. Throwing a big dice in a small square, to guess the price of the product?? Why not just guess the price of the product? The first game showed Lisa is boss!! How many men know what type of handbag was the right kind? No, overly complicated play on other games ideas.Oh, and good job the other couple who were "friends" didn't win as some of the prizes would have been inappropriate. Doesn't really work!
