Long trip travel tip for young kids - for a 7 hour trip I prewrapped 7 little "prizes" (literally something little, package of fruit snacks, crayons and coloring book, package of goldfish, etc) and every hour i gave my kids a prize. Something for them to look forward to and it actually helped the time pass. Idk if you'll see this or if it's even do-able for your younger kids, but thought I'd mention it 😊 have fun!!

They’ll have shampoo at the hotel and you could place an order to be delivered to the hotel.

You do know you can just wash your current clothes instead of constantly rebuying new ones.

I’ve got towels and washcloths from Amazon. I bought all white so they can all be bleached and cleaned and the ones you buy for a hotel room I think there’s like 24 in the pack or sometime she can even get 30 or more.

Those lolly whistles are going to make people crazy on the flight! Have a great time though.

My PCP taught me a trick to avoid naesua and anxiety when flying. For potential anxiety take 1 childrens dissolvable benedryl, and for naesua take 1 non-drowsy dramamine. Works like a charm, especially when you know there will be bad turbulance on your flight!

Just a couple of things that I know for sure… as Oprah would say. 🤪 1) It’s hot as balls in Las Vegas, in July! You are used to humidity. Trust me when I say, this is a different heat! 2) Please do not make your kids wear anything that you made them wear before in (New York City) heat!! Saw it, and felt so bad for them! 3) I am very liberal, and raised my kids to be free thinkers. They are amazing grown adults now. But, I still to this day do not think that Las Vegas is a place that you should take children on vacation. I say all of this from experience, and love. Please consider what you “share” while you are there. I hope you have other family members, or people you trust around you and the kids.

Love to see the hauls but I think it's time to start shopping for the older and younger kids separately. I honestly don't see Alex, James, Naveah, Dayshawn, or Zoey playing with any of that stuff on the plane.

I would personally not bring the pop tubes on the plane. They are so loud. I could only imagine 12 of those being used at the same time in small space.

Just a thought…maybe you could order some snacks while you are there instead of traveling with them?

Why do you need so many snacks for a plane- my kids slept on the NJ to CA flight and played on iPads- they each had 2 snacks each and gum- it’s 6 hours not 24 and Harley is what 5 now. They don’t need 10 snacks each.

I don’t understand why 12 of the little kids toy activities for the plane. I doubt the older kids will want to play with those?

Why flip flops why not just wear their crocs

The toothbrushes though....Is it just me or does it seem unreasonable to buy toothbrushes every time you go out of town? Just buy caps and put them on the toothbrushes you already have. But I guess this works for them their business not mine… Just seems wasteful/good for content I guess

Sky high shelves of clothes in the background and you have to buy more. If they need a sweater in summer in case they get cold why not just bring one from home instead of buying new ..they probably won't even wear it at all. What a waste.

I did Vegas in July one time, never again! I regretted adding a day to our trip for "Fun" after our plans for the show we attended. It was SO hot and hard to move around the city in heat like that. I hope it's cooler for y'all! I do hear that sky watching, and star gazing have become quite popular there lately too LOL. Have a great ceremony!

Why are you buying pillows for a trip where you’re flying?

We always have a Rubbermaid container that is strictly for traveling where we put any unopened or unused toothbrushes, toothpaste, floss, etc. All OTC meds for traveling, etc. The deodorant (write your name on each deodorant so know whos it is). It saves a ton of money and when you go on your next trip you have almost everything you need in one spot. Growing up my Mom also did this when we used to go camping, when my Dad graduated his recruits from basic training and before he picked up the next group of recruits, we would leave for a short vacation. My Dad served in the US ARMY for over 22 years, he was a Junior and then a Senior Drill Sgt for over 4 years. My Mom had a Rubbermaid container that had brushes, hair ties, razors, soaps, deodorant, fresh toothpaste and toothbrushes, soap, shampoo, towels, basic clothing like underwear, OTC meds that was designated for travel/vacation. We would have to buy a couple of items but she showed me the budget and she did save a lot of money, time and energy. Just grab and go! Though, being in the military my Dad, and our family (mainly my Mom had things organized) had to have everything 'squared away'. So the organization my Mom implemented was vital. When you usually move every 2 to 3 years and your husband can get orders to be deployed at any time, she had to know where all of his gear was at all time. Even during field exercises he had to ruck up with his soldiers that he was the drill Sgt over. Have a wonderful time on your vacation! I hope the weather isn't as insanely hot as the forecast says!

If you have an old navy they usually have a lot of flip flops! All different colors!

Juniors is odd number sizing and women’s is even. Women’s sizing is fuller cut than juniors also

Oh no I'm sorry, but no one is gonna sit beside me on a plane and pull out a pop tube and go to town... that is a loud, obnoxious and inconsiderate thing to do in a closed, confined space with others.

Hint: buy Walmart brand equate in everything you can! It's the exact same thing as the name brand, just more affordable!

I did the same thing with the trash bags. It was not a pleasant smell and I couldn't figure out where it was coming from. It kept triggering my migraines. I had the box of trash bags in a cabinet, after a couple weeks of the scent accumulating, I opened the cabinet door and the smell hit me. I went searching to throw whatever reeked out and finally realized the trash bags were the cause. 🤦🏼‍♀️🤷🏼‍♀️😂 😂 After two urgent care visits for severe migraines, being miserable and sick as a dog, it was all from the scented trash bags. Idk about anyone else but if my trash starts to smell, it indicates to me that I need to take my trash to the dumpster. I don't like trying to cover one odor up with a different one. 😂😊 But to each his own. 😊

A size 6 in women's would be too small the twins if they wear 6 in men's. It doesnt matter at this point but I think sizing up would have been key. Women's size 7 would more likely fit the twins better than the women's 6. I could be wrong though...😂😂🤷‍♀️
