Next time you go to the meat market or even a grocery store with a meat counter where there are meat cutters, ask the meat cutter if they would grind a roast into ground beef for you. If they do and a chuck roast or another cheap cut of beef is on sale you can have them grind it for you. My dad was a butcher and that is the only way he would buy his ground beef. He told me that when you do it this way you know exactly what is in your ground beef. Sadly not as many markets will grind a cut of beef for you like they used to.
Hi,have you considered getting a small deep freezer? You have a pretty large family and it would be helpful to have back up food. Love your videos. Peace and Blessings ❤️

I just wanted to let you know that you should try the great value brand of canned vegetables. After some research it looks like they are packed by DelMonte. I worked in canneries for years, it was all the same product in the can, we just put on different labels, it was the same when I worked for Smith frozen foods.
My whole family worked in canneries, that was what you did in the town I grew up in. Milton-Freewater, Oregon was known as the pea capital of the world. When I worked at Smith frozen foods a lot of what we processed went to Campbells soup, we really had to be on our toes when we sorted, they were very Picky about the product. Our oversized peas were used for baby food. My research leads me to believe that the gv peanut butter is packaged by peter pan. I personally always try the store brand first, very seldom have I been disappointed.
Teresa is your Wal-Mart pricey also? If you go to Sam's it's so much better girlie.....I'm a mother of 6 children. But my kids are grown and one teenager that's 17. But shopping there will be so much better for you. Especially since you like to cook. Also how do Cornish hens taste?
Yes this Walmart is pricey! But I also heard Sams Club went up on their prices too! Wow 6 and one is a teenager? Cornish hens are delicious they better than whole chickens but the taste is a little similar!
@@teresaplusfive Love your volgs. I've been binge watching all day. I love how your so natural you dont make yourself up for the camera real women I love that I want to watch somebody down to earth Not all that fake beauty. I mean who wakes up putting make up on? I don't. You have natural beauty. Thanks for the blogs keep them coming
Haayyy MsT. The butcher's/ meat shop is great value, and better quality but I hate it when they don't show the price of their extras (rice/ beans/ other). We need to check the price before checking it out, 😊 wish we could get smoked turkey neck in UK/ Ireland! Looks really good.
