The whole time I was watching this thinking that this is the worst way to greet someone who's had amnesia - it's way too overwhelming for him to have all these people fussing around him when he can't fully remember who they even are :'(

Aliza Siddiqui by "novela" I think they mean "telenovela" which is like a series about 50 to 200 chapters. I think those telenovelas are common over all Latinoamérica. I think in USA have something similar called "soap opera".
this episode is soo wrong on soo many levels that you have to accept that its a drama, I mean there is no way in a hell that introducing someone who has amnesia like this is the write corse of action,! of course, he would faint because of the overwhelming experience!
