For anyone else wondering GA4 Config in tag configuration is changed to jsut 'Google Tag', it will also ask for a TAG ID instead of Measurement ID but you can put the measurement ID there just like in the video.

sir, so when we use google and youtube and connect all gads, ga4, merchant center. All conversions will automatically add to GA4 event, conversions. Or we still need to setup conversion, event manually. Im confused

Quick Question, i noted the Status on each item was "Inactive", do we need to create a tag for each of the item to make it active so it can track? or it will complete the tags on its own within few hours.

The naming of the conversion events suggest they will only trigger when it is a Google Shopping conversion and not a Google Ads conversion. It says "Google Shopping App Purchase". Can you help me understand why it's not the case and where is the configuration for Google to understand it's both. Thank you very much.

So In setting this all up. My google ads is not reporting the conversions. My ga4 is reporting my "completed orders" tho. I did the upload conversion action of "completed orders" and google ads is still not tracking. anyone got a troubleshoot idea for me?

Did everything exactly, step by step, and when I check the Google tag assistant, the tag manager shows red error: “Missing or invalid account ID” I double checked and everything matches and was done correctly. Any ideas how to fix?

I tried this approach and my conversion events are showing in GA4 and the events themselves show up in Google Ads but there is no conversion data in Google Ads for those events. Not sure what the issue is. I have tried other ways as well including disconnecting everything and starting over.

Hi, I followed your tutorial step by step, but still it does not work 😞 I checked and the Google Ads Tag does not appear in the Tag Assistant. Probably as a result of that, the automatically added Conversions, ie AddToCart, Checkout, AddItem do not work. However, I am able to import GA4 conversions into Google Ads like pageview and purchase. Any idea where I went wrong? Thank you very much

Thank you very much for this. It was very helpful. I did however run into a problem. When on the Google Tags Manager, when trying to add the GA4 Configuration Tag, it didn't give me that option. The only GA4 option I had was to add an 'Events' tag. Are you able to help as to why this might be the case? Thank you

Previously I had set my conversion tracking differently. Switched to Shopify and then downloaded this app. However, I thought this was wrong with 'conversions', so I removed the 'Google shopping app purchase'. Any idea how I can get this back? Thank you for the great video. At 12mins 23 you go to conversion settings. Mine are blank at the moment. Do I have to wait 24 hours? I have only just installed the Shopify Google App, as well as activated web metrics. Thanks again!
