Business can be tough, in 73 I had an engineering sales business selling welding gear started with turnover of 16k in first year, built up a mail order company until turning over a million in 1980, a supplier that was jealous of our success pulled a dastardly trick in 81 by Feb82 I was losing 1k a day went into liquidation final debt 290 k lost house, had to start a new life, working in Oman on military contract with Marconi to build up savings to put down on a house. A man who never made a mistake never made anything.... Best of luck keep your eyes open You played well today, it sounded great on my headphones no problem with the mike for me 😊❤

Oh yes and that was before computers were useful, we 45,000 customers on cards in a bank of drawers for records, my first comuter a hand held device was 28kilobites of memory. Later the Psion range of handheld for using on the move, with a pc at home in my office. Now I have a smartphone and an Pad nothing else a simple life tech wise 😂😂

Finally my economics degree has purpose. Remember, there are three groups to consider: fans, on the fence, and randos. A quick pricing advice, especially if you have fans/a brand-base, that the price should be high enough that 60% of the top fans buy shirts, 20% of on the fence buy it, and 0% of randos buy it. Just estimating your consumer base that something like $40 isn’t a crazy amount to charge considering your costs. Treat this as a premium product, rather than a shirt for everyone. That is, if you want to cushion the margin.

You can get a mic cover for your mics. Any drawstring bags will work. I’ve never had a problem with any of my mics, but I put them away after I use them and I don’t use them as much as you.

There are always surprises with small business. There MUST be a way to put the tax on the order--everyone else seems to. I have a friend who self-published an expensive photography coffee table book, had a big print run, and sold through amazon. He really took a bath on the thing, and most of the books are sitting in his basement.

Yeah from what I’ve been told so far with Shopify you just have to factor it into the price, there’s still lots to learn with this thing
