I just love your shopping vlogs. It’s amazing that the thrifted items are cleaned and pressed. Here in the NY/ NJ area, most thrift stores are messy and the clothes are not in as good condition (imo). You both have a keen eye and look great in all your picks. Same in Canada- although I try not to call it thrifting in Japan since it’s curated and cleaned… whereas my thrift stores in Canada is straight from a donation pile!

Hi. Love the Japan series and the earlier Paris series. Great vibes and aesthetics. Appreciate the authenticity too, where you not just feature the posh hotels you stay but also the more functional hotels you interspersed with during your trips. That’s exactly what we do too. One question, for the Akari lamp, does the voltage work in HK or there’s some kind of dual voltage plug?

Hi guys, I just came back from Japan last week. The shopping and food is to die for. I looked through the vintage and used clothing stores. But I found them to be so expensive. I found one in Hiroshima that was so beautiful . Many levels and lots interesting stock. But nut enough room in my case . A lot of big items . But so cool. ❤

I went into MOMA once and they told me they didn’t have stock but when I checked their online shop you could order! So I asked that girl we had just met to call MOMA to ask if we purchased online could we ship to the shop.. ends up they just sent a couple lamps to the physical store and we had one reserved under our name (but didn’t need to pay). I would get your hotel concierge to help you call the shop to ask if they can do the same thing (or ship to your hotel)

Thank you for this soothing sleek abd unboxing video to watch on Boxing Day after the ordeal of slipping twice and falling backwards on the head on an indoor floor flooded with rainwater at Mt Faber Safra on Christmas Day. If you like tea and incense, plan to visit some of the century old shops, not Ippudo please, in Kyoto and Uji during early summer and have great fun.

Hi Sam! I understand from your vlogs that both of you have quite an amount of luggage. In that case, what mode of transport (and the size of the car) did you use to get yourselves to the airport?

Going from Narita airport to hotel we took 5 suitcases on the subway (approx 1.5hrs) and going back the hotel arranged a van to take us (and 6 luggage) to haneda airport!
