I remember when I just started out I only had a bed and a little 4 burner stove. I joined a partner and it wasn’t until I got my partner draw I was able to start buying other furniture and it was still so expensive that time. I wasn’t even able to buy what I really wanted then. Had to settle for basic items until I little by little I managed to changed them out

Haha 😂, that’s a good idea , but they don’t have the best warranty on furniture and appliances . I once bought a Tv from an Indian store and it stopped working within two weeks and when I carried it back they said they couldn’t help me . So some things I’m iffy about. Get me ?
Buying furniture in Jamaica is rough, a lot harder than I thought. Buying the house already left me bruk but appliances are sooooo expensive. I see one fridge for $400k I said no sah I need a fridge but not that fridge. I have my furniture made though and that was the best decision although still need a kitchen table and chairs, sofa, stove kmt
Yup! And since 2022 the prices for some things seem to have doubled. Just take you time in acquiring the rest of things … you’ve gotten the best part , the house!!! Everything else will fall in place. I’m just facing the reality that I won’t get everything all in one go , and I’m being patient and trying to enjoy the journey . Cheers 🥂 to us 😊
