The people at the Fresh Market don’t care about price tags… they probably in several higher tax brackets than 95% of us watching these videos 🤣.

I have a fresh market where I live. They are little pricey, but the quality is there. You pay a little bit more but you’re gonna get your moneys worth. They have some different stuff than other stores so if you think some things are expensive, it’s because you’re getting better quality stuff yeah the staff is friendly. They definitely want to help you.

That looked REALLY Good! I would love to go there. I had an aunt who would have bought thew cat food and toothpaste at those prices, because she was there. "Some people have more dollars than sense".

They do have amazing produce and excellent products, stores are always clean and staff is friendly. They have an incredible rewards program which makes the prices better.

Danno, I don't get fresh milk. I get powdered milk and evaporated milk. That seems like a better option for my husband and me. Powdered milk lasts forever and I make it when I need it.

I used to work there. Their bakery is phenomenal. Blueberry mini scones are great. Glad you went there. In Hendersonville, Tennessee where I worked, catered to the rich customers. Then I commuted to Brentwood. South suburb of Nashville. Met a lot of rich people, including several country music artists. Hi to Jessica. Their lamb chops are good, and they usually have fresh frozen rabbit. Try the grind your own honey roasted peanut butter. Best ever.

Every Tuesday at the West Chester, Ohio Fresh Market they have ground chuck $2.99 a pound if you are a member. It's no cost to join...you just put in your phone number at the register keypad. If you aren't a member It's $3.99. It is EXCELLENT!! We go and stock up. It will make simple things like chili taste better. It's better than any chuck at the grocery store.

Only place that I buy ground chuck and chicken. Super high quality. Wonderful bakery and floral section.

Before I even watch, I want to tell you that I asked what was going on at Kroger yesterday because almost all the cold cuts and other area items, were out or very low. My friend who does the ordering there(Kroger in Bardstown, KY), said that they were told not to order, that Kroger is switching over to having the computer decide what the people here buy and when the store needs to order items. Corporate told them it would take months for it to adjust.The problem being is that as you know, it's Derby time. Activities, parties, everything and the computer didn't know to take that into consideration. Since Corporate is in Cincinnati, you'd think they would realize the timing is terrible, unless there is more to the story. I am getting constantly suspicious and I don't like it happening to me.

These "oven ready" meals like the chicken pot pie are cheaper than eating out and great for if you don't feel well. We got 2 whopper meals and the bill was right at $23.00. We usually eat at home but I have a 9mm kidney stone and haven't been able to cook.

I love Fresh Market. We mostly have single people, couples and older folks that shop there. Good for a quick healthy Lunch

Another good video. Love cooking with cast iron. My husband hates chunks of tomatoes I puree all sauces for him. Yes he's spoiled but hey he's worth it. We are on 38 years of marriage...lol

That dinner looks so good. However, not a fan RAOS sauce, I usually make my own. I like Chicken parm made with only parm. She may like the chicken francaise(spelling). A great video. I bake my chicken parm. Now I'd like to try it this way. I always have spaghetti with mine. Thank Danno. Good one Jess! Use Italian bread 🍞. So nice and enjoyable ✌️

Fresh Market looks wonderful! I don't have one near me. But i am lucky to have a few very similar stores where I am (Trader Joe's, Whole Foods, Sprouts, Gelsons). One thing to remember when shopping stores like these: Never buy the "regular" items/brands that you can get in ordinary markets. As for the prices, if the quality is there and price won't hurt the wallet, don't hesitate. Like you found out w/your chicken parm meal, you got a great meal w/high quality food and it was probably as good and way cheaper than a similar meal in a restaurant. Looking at it this way, places like Fresh Market, whole Foods, Trader Joes can be a great value. Also you got very nutritious food in that meal, much better than spending that money on junk food. Food isn't just to kill hunger. Food is an investment in our health!

Danno, most of the stuff has NO LABEL OF COUNTRY OF ORIGIN. Or list ingredients well.

Both fresh markets in WI closed...and both were in more $$$ neighborhoods...although the store was great! The fresh flowers, beautiful displays, and great ready made deli and bakery selections were well stocked. But I wonder how much waste their was. The store was just way, way to expensive for us (and many I know said the same thing).

The meat section looks awesome. I use to get the home made in house sausage. Very well spiced. Probably alot of items are imported from the country they were produced in adding to the price. I haven't been there in a bit. Never got a bad steak there. I just eat a few bites of my husbands. Take care

This chain is/was Winn Dixie. They changed the name for obvious reasons. In the south, " fresco mercardo" sorry about spelling. Which is Winn Dixie spanish. The canned goods day special is an old winn dixie thing from as far back as the 1980's.

People pay $7 for a "fancy" coffee.....so $6.99 for a large wedge of watermelon isn't such a bad deal. and much better for your health.

Jess I know exactly how you feel about tomato chunks, I prefer a smooth sauce too! That’s why I have an immersion blender. I would also recommend a meat thermometer, absolute game changer. If the chicken is 165 degrees, it’s done.

I'm trying buy only organic food but.... Kinda hard on disability. I stopped using microwaves many years ago. They take all the goodness out of the food. Thanks both of you for sharing.

There's a Fresh Market down the street from my office. I've only been in a few times because their prices are outrageous. The items I bought were good (bakery, premade meals, nuts, bulk candy) but just not worth the cost. It's a lovely looking store but way above my budget.

Other than Butter and eggs @ $2.99, 4 times pts Fri-Sun.Folgers $6.99. not worth shopping this week. Meats are out of my budget.

My family doesn’t like a pulpy sauce either. When I bought Raos and saw it was pulpy I threw it in my vitamix and it came out great. Usually I make my own but kept hearing how everyone loved Raos so I had to try it. Think I’ll stick with my own.

Many people pay high prices on items there (especially men) because it's convenient. They grab it and go because they don't want to go to multiple stores when they just want to go home.

Yes, very expensive. I used to treat myself to their deli section ( artichoke heart- greek salad, loaded baked potatoes, that sort of thing). But I'm priced out. They have an incredible cheese section. But the Kroger across the street figured that out, and got competitive. On brie, etc.

I love The Fresh Market, but only go there for "treat" items. They have amazing baked goods. I got a pie there for Easter and it was a hit. I also had them cater Thanksgiving a couple of years back and it was wonderful.

I have been in Lexington ky, Hilton head and Ohio stores. They all have had great produce. I like some the bottle sauces. Fresh nuts and dried fruit. Pre packed and self serve.

Jess-pour those chunky sauces through a colander or use a blender. My kids hate chunky tomatoes, so I've done this for years. Love Rao's. Fresh Market is like Whole Foods ($$$). We go there maybe once a year. We love the Vanilla Loaf from the bakery. Will have to check out their meal kits the next time I go.

I hate how dark the Fresh Market stores are....that was always one of my complaints. -- The store does have a number of specials and I love their bulk bin items.

Been to the store a couple of times. It's a store. That's my short description. A bit longer would be that they are for customers who don't cook, don't know how to cook, and don't really know prices.

Jess, you can strain the tomatoes out of the sauce. I hate the chunks in red sauce too. Thanks for doing this store. I have one near me but haven’t used them since they opened. Nice to know about the prepared meals. It may help me out since cooking everyday is getting harder because on certain days not feeling well.

Their coffee mixed nuts cheese and chocolates are the best. Not a budget friendly place but with it's only money and yolo😉. Btw,you do need to check the dates in produce

Wal-Mart Great Value vegetables went up to $.64 a can. I'm in mid Illinois. Wow!

My stop n shop does this in New York .. this week you had to pay for 85% lean chop meat on sale $2.99 a lb You got free the sour cream , tortillas, taco seasoning pack and a small bag of shredded lettuce all 4 items free with the price of the chop meat ! They been doing this like every other week .. I think it helps the customers , and you have a decent meal ..

Jess I am with you. I do not like cooked tomatoes. I can eat them raw everyday.. chunky style sauces, nope! You can put the sauce in a blender for a quick pulse and that helps.

Those Ciabatta rolls make great sandwiches. We slice and toast them. Try a chicken parm Sammie :)

I can't think of one single thing, that I ever buy brand name of. I think in these times you might have to for go the "high quality" and buy what you can afford. Very few things taste much better in name brand.

I love Fresh Market. The one that use to be an hour from us went out of Business years ago. They have the best cookies and bake goods. I really miss the store. And Imiss the pasta sauce there and the root beer from Australia.

I live Fresh Market! They hqve great sales weekly. Some things are expensive, but not everything. Ine thing that is great is yheir Tuesday chuck and chicken deal. It is Prime chunks from their roasts and steaks. The best meat I have ever had. It will be in sale for $3.99 a pound in the chicken and ground chuck. It also isngreat for speciality items.

Bread in Canada was a lot pricier than yours a year ago and has remained flat here but is way up now at your end. Cakes cost a fortune here compared to yours. Keep an eye on them and don't get taken for a ride.

We always eat chicken parmesan on top of pasta soooooo good yummy. 😋😋😋

...My favorite supermarket in Florida was Lucky's Market, it was perfect!!! (For me ) Everything I was looking for in a supermarket all under one roof. I shed a tear when they closed. Now I go to Sprouts and Fresh Market and Publix...but none make me as Happy as Lucky's Market Did.

We cook a lot with an electric skillet. Chicken on low heat until done is easier than switching it to skillet unless it is for both too.

That chicken looks delicious! I recently found a good chicken recipe online from youtube on the hillbilly kitchen channel. Marinade chicken all night in milk and vinegar or buttermilk. We use milk and vinegar. Fry it in olive oil. Best chicken ever!
