Like my reply to many😏, I'm getting a massive rebate as an existing customer affected by the new laws. My price tag is 3,999 instead of 6,699. Also, courses and insurance for motorcycles are much more expensive, since they require more training and are more dangerous. I'm only getting the Class 6D moped license, which is 3 hours of theory and 3 hours of practice, and an SAAQ knowledge test. Nothing more. As a comparison, the Class 6A motorcycle license has a pre-training SAAQ knowledge test, 32 hours of courses (theory and practice), another SAAQ closed-track test, 11 months of learner's license, and a final SAAQ road test. In a few years, I will begin training for the Class 6A.
@@MontrealRides $3,999 that's more like it, imagine, that scooter weighs 249 pounds with a 3000W motor and a 60V Battery, my E-Bike weighs 65 pounds with a 3000W motor with a 72V battery, imagine the difference in power to weight.

WTF? why are those legal and mine (with is like a beachman 64' ) not??....also i saw a loophole that if they are "safe certified " in the US or Mexico they may be legal .(i want to import a new Chinese cafe racer motorcycle style bike to Ontario and get a scooter license inccure it there( i kept my ontario citizenship beacause i like to be able to actually get health care) and bring here to Montreal to ride ?

Maybe double-check with the SAAQ to make sure everything is good-to-go! As a side note: You have Canadian citizenship... you should have the same free healthcare in any province in the country, LOL. I think you may have meant Ontario residency, which mainly determines what provincial income taxes you have to pay and which services you can or cannot have.
As one of your subscribers, I know you use the Euro. So, it's the equivalent of about 4,400 Euros. But I'm allowing a larger expense, but I'm getting a large rebate as an existing customer affected by the new law. I'll be getting it for 3,999 Canadian $, which is about 2,650 Euros. Electric vehicles are always a bit more expensive on the purchase, but you save sooo much money on fuel, especially since electricity is the cheapest in my province.
