Try number two to post. Thank you for another drive through your area. Your videos will be the only way I will see Australia. The vegetation is so lovely there. Everything seems to bloom. I looked up the Jacaranda tree. They won’t grow here. I was really surprised when I saw the post from Kate. It always makes me happy when she posts a new video. I agree that that cardigan pattern looks doable. Your videos have it all-travel, cooking, crafting, and a weather report. Thanks for sharing your day with me. See you soon. Gayle

Hi Gayle I should take a trip up North where I grew up about 400 miles away. Its more sub tropical. I havent been 'home' since my beloved mum passed away 12 years ago. Here in coastal Sydney most plants grow well as its a Mediterranean climate zone 33°S. The Jacarandas are originally from South America Im thinking. They are the most spectacular trees with this intense purple/lavender flowers. All of the native Eucalypt tress flower also and the hundreds of Wattles with varying yellows and gold flowers most of the year. Hope to see you tomorrow. Hugs friend xx

Let me try and write a comment again! I can't remember what I wrote, but I'll try. I can't believe how Pagewood has changed! We haven't been down that way for a LOOOONG time. We don't seem to get any further than the airport these days. You got quite a haul at Big W. I hope you're grandkids (or )kids? like the things you bought them 😀 Your scarf is coming along nicely. Isn't creativity born out of going off script on our artistic pursuits. 💜 I love that lime green linen. I haven't worn a lot of linen in the past apart from some pants and crop pants. Having MS and hitting 60 next month, I find I just can't bear to wear synthetics in any way these days. I watch these two vlogs where the makers knit and sew, and they both use a lot of linen in their makes. This is what has drawn me to it I think, as they make some lovely garments for everyday use. I think you're going to get to making your Hinterland Dress way before me Barbara. I've had my fabric and pattern now for about two months and haven't even washed the fabric yet. I've since seen the Clo Bias skirt and now am torn between the two. I haven't made any jackets before either, other than a Bolero Jacket years ago. I don't know why the thought of making one intimidates me, but it does. You're the first person I've found other than myself that makes their soup this way with curry powder, stock, salt and pepper. I love soup too and have two pureed ones that I make a lot. One is a tomato, onion, zuccini and carrot soup..... the other is a roasted Kent pumpkin, onion, cauliflower and celery soup. I should add that I don't use the Curry powder in the tomato soup, but I do like eating a serving of both mixed together in the bowl with a lot of grated cheese mixed through. Yum! My love the tomato soup served over pasta with cheese Great episode Barbara, you sure packed a lot into it! PS sorry for the novel of a comment, I couldn't remember what I said before and just put your video on and rambled away! 😂

I'm so happy that you re posted your lovely comments 💗. Soup is the best. I LOVE tomato soup from a can..I think my mum used to make it too. I also love veg soup and the same unblitzed soup with chicken pieces. What date is your birthday? My daughter Skye is 1 Nov, my friend is 17 Nov and 23 Nov. I hope you have something special to look forward to for this birthday 💗. Hugs friend xx

Yes I saw Kate making her cardigan too. Just a thought Barbara - I think John might be a keeper 😂. What a lovely man he seems. You make a nice couple 😊. My brother is unexpectedly in hospital in Coffs Harbour so I took him up some clean clothes etc today, decided to go browsing at Spotlight and yeah, walked out $80 poorer (after banning myself from buying any more material this year). Ah well it’s past halfway, so well done me 😇.

I hope your brother is ok. Blessing for return to good health. I spent many days shopping/ browsing in Coffs as a teenager. Its growing so fast and has changed a lot. Great shopping by you 💗. See you tomorrow
