Since we didn't get enough punishment with the last four motorhomes, we decided to look for a smaller travel trailer. Unfortunately, most of them are lacking quality in order to save weight and cost. We spent the day looking for the best quality we could find, no matter the price.

My brother has a $100K plus Airstream. He had bad electrical problems, even after it had been “fixed!” Various issues, various locations, various times. Twice, the electrical messed up on the awning prior to storms and wouldn’t retract. The storm totaled them. I was there camping in my RV when these events happened. I had to dismantle them so I could bind them and slide them under my boat to secure them to the trailer to get home. He sold it. Other than those issue, it was a really nice camper. Bathroom was crazy small.

Best brands I've seen, Lance and Outdoors RV. Lance however is not made for tall people, which is unfortunate. We have owned an ORV and would purchase again!

Nice video! You might like the Alliance Delta 262RB. It has a large rear bath with a 30x36 shower, theater seating, and a booth dinette. It also includes two air conditioners and a lot of "useful" user-friendly features.

I've been looking at an Airstream single axle to tow behind my Tacoma. Even been to that dealer a few months ago. Compared to other towables, the Airstream will hold up better and be less trouble. No slide outs (lighter / stronger) and better aerodynamics makes them easier to tow. The Airstreams are expensive, but built better.

@@irritatedtraveler7885 I don't remember the shower or sitting area being unusable in the single axle versions. I'm 6ft so I always step in the shower for a test fit. We were looking at a 22ft Caravel. They most likely only have two or three shower styles across the fleet. And they may all may lack headroom. We just bought a second home in FL and may look again at travel trailers once we settle in. I will pay more attention to the seating next time.

Loved the review… you are correct the shower size is deal broker. You will laugh, We have the fifth wheel model that’s a CRAZY 44ft with 5 slide outs. 3 A/C’s. And the front living room design. Our unit is not used for traveling, we live in Palm Springs, Ca and in the summer we use it at RV club that’s at 4,000 elevation. And the club moves from our storage space. LAZY camping!!! ⛺️ Can’t wait to see what unit you purchase for your use. Oh oh… loved your last long video which your home up grades. My wife was hoping you were doing the same, because she had me up and install 5 ceiling fans due to your video. LOL 😂

Appreciate the information. Note: I had an auto-level system on my 2018 Aerolite. Aside from having the the computer replaced in the first month the system worked quite well. Now have powered jacks on my Rockwood and have to level it myself (with the app, of course.)

Go back to a class A motorhome, this time get a smaller one. Look at a Tiffin Breeze 33 BR. We love ours very maneuverable, has everything you need easy to park easy to drive. We’ve pulled campers for 28 years and this is by far the easiest traveling we’ve had.

We had a 36ft DP motor home and just downsized to a Flagstaff Microlite 25FKBS in January 2024. It seems to be well built for a lower price TT. I've been going over any issues it might have now or in the future and have found very minor things with it. I also found it was pretty clean even behind cabinets and drawers where you usually find a lot of wood or metal shavings.

You guys should purchase a Luxe. Great quality your style. I saw a 2023 for sale that was just beautiful in Titusville FL. If you are thinking about something smaller get a Leisure Van. Great quality.

You should look at the airstream, 33 foot classic. The model that you looked at and said was a 33, was not. The only 33 foot airstream is the classic and it has a huge rear bathroom! It sounds like the bathroom is the most important thing to you, so it’s worth looking at!

Air Streams don't seem to be designed for us tall guys / gals. Lots of talk about RV frame flex on the internet. I think this only pertains to some 5th wheels but still has me checking chassis/frames on anything I might consider pulling.

I think you should checkout the 33' Airstream Classic -- it has a nice large shower. The Classic is Airstream's top trim level. The one you thought was the 33' was actually the 30' Globetrotter.

We did look at one. It's very nice but my head still hits the ceiling in most of the shower and at 200K it is shockingly expensive for a travel trailer. It would be a consideration if they included a 5 year warranty and guaranteed VIP service including loaners when the RV is down for repair.

The Bigfoot 25RQ has much more headroom in the showers, taller inside as well with a queen bed. You definitely want to check them out!

I'm in the same market, though for Alaska I need true 4 season and off road suspension. Have you considered Imperial Outdoors X195 or Roamer 1? That's my top choice.. with Bigfoot being 2nd choice.

Air stream is very expensive for a rig with very little living space. These rigs probably have one of the best resale values though.

Have owned 2 different Airstream trailers. Wouldn’t purchase another Back in the day, the longer trailer models would have a “residential” style couch/bed across the width of the trailer. Airstream’s newer models are simply filled with cheap bench style seating. Only model that has a decent shower is the 23’ with the rear bath Simply too difficult to maintain. Exterior surfaces don’t hold up well, expect lots of swirling and “spalling” around each rivet penetration

We have a 30 foot Rockwood with auto levelers a king bed and a 30x48 shower. It's a towable i had a radius shower in the past and learned very fast dont drop the soap. Theres no room to pick it up

Checkout Bigfoot travel trailers. All under 30 feet. They are made in BC Canada but have US dealers or can buy used. We love ours!

We've had an Outback Ultra-Lite (by Keystone) since 2012 and have not had any issues. The have a "5th wheel" type floor plan, but are a travel trailer. Check them out!

Look at Bigfoot in the 25 ‘ length, you can get twin beds or a queen size bed . You can also get theater seats .

@@irritatedtraveler7885 Not having a slide would make it a contender for us . We loved the room and boing 6’3 it had plenty of head room . We also like it’s a 4 season camper . The Intech only has the bubble wrap insulation compared to the solid foam insulation.

I loathe Air Stream once you buy it you have to trade out the rims and wheels and do a 3-inch lift with no storage none. Go look at an Outdoors RV 250-RDS I love the 280 RKS.

I love Airstreams but I would personally would never buy one because of the seating, even if I could afford it. If they would take out the front couch and add some reclining theater seating I would like it so much better. I got rid of my last travel trailer because the seating was terrible.

About the Airstream shower as a taller person. If you're tall, just sit down in the shower. That's why the seat is there. There's enough room. Remember you're buying a _travel_ trailer, not a parked on a lot trailer. The idea is to enjoy the places you're going. Get outside and see the sights, hike, bike, etc. Not just live in the trailer. And while you're on the road, the Airstream is a lot easier to tow, and is still livable inside without opening slides. The Airstream will remain usable for the next 50 years unlike a lot of other RVs

I watched the video of your Ram truck. All your issues were dealer related not Ram. I have a 2020 Ram 2500 with the Hemi and ordered for towing. My Sat radio had the same issue...bad antenna. My oil changes are 80.00 plus tax and include tire rotation. The recall is almost always just a check and if more a simple adjustment of the striker. If you still have the truck you could tow the Brinkley no problem from the advance specs released. Also I hope you used the 0W40 Penzoil oil as it was designed for the Hemi and no other oil has been approved including Mobil 1.For trucks I always had Fords. But when I bought this one the same equipment in Ford or GM was 12K more. As for Toyota...just a wanna be truck. Every guy I know in construction got rid of theirs within 6 months@@irritatedtraveler7885
