Shopping in Larnaca Town, Cyprus | Has the opening of the Mall changed shopping in the Town center 

Any time a shopping Mall opens in a town, changes happen in what were other popular shopping areas.
Larnaca is no different and changes have happened, mostly chain stores that have moved to the Mall. Others such as Marks and Spencer opened stores in the Mall and chose to also keep a store in the town center.
Is Larnaca town center still a good place to shop ? Yes, I would say so, You will find many privately owned businesses selling items you won’t necessarily find in the Mall.
The recently opened municipal market is proving popular, and as you walk around the town shops you are struck by the many beautiful old buildings in the area.
You are also only a couple of minutes walk to Finikoudes beach front for lunch or coffee with a sea view, you won’t have that option in the Mall.
Yes the Mall is a great place to visit the big chain stores but Larnaca town still has a lot to offer visitors and locals.
