Love you Amber, but seeing the pieces bought reminds me how a lot of these luxury brands aren't worth the price. That girls plaid skirt was made in Vietnam and priced at $250, and I bet the adult version is also made in Vietnam which the workers got paid pennies to make. It just reminds me that we're paying for the brand rather than the quality and workmanship.

It's pretty unfair to infer that just because something is made in the global south it is poor "quality" or "workmanship". They make goods to the standard that the company sets and it has nothing to do with the skills of the workers themselves.

@@faith8953 the original post specifically calls out that they are made in Vietnam and infers that this equals poor quality and workman ship. The location of a sweatshop makes no difference to type of factory it is. There are sweatshops in Europe, America and other so called "developed" countries too. Be mindful before tarring a country as lower quality before recognising that quality has nothing to do with the workers and everything to do with the companies commissioning the production of the goods.

I’m 30 years & I enjoy shopping at the children section too, it’s so fun because they have unique pieces + great prices. It’s so weird how clothes run because I can be a 7 in jeans but also a 16 in girls. Love me a good deal/sale. Thanks for this doing this video Amber!

I just want everyone here to know, you don't have to be super tiny to wear kids' clothes either! I am a size 10/12 in women's and I can wear an XL in kids', boys and girls... idk what the number size would be in the kids', but yeah haha And same with the shoes, like she said... "and up" I am an 8.5/9 in women's shoes and a 5 or 6 in boy's and girl's shoes fit me 😊😉

I just want you to know, even If you can’t fit into a kids sizes or super small adult sizes; You are beautiful no matter what, please don’t compare your body to Ambers or anyone else! Especially the young girls that are commenting that they are actually a kid, but have to wear adult sizes. The outfit of the day is actually the uniform for my little sister’s school. Nude bottoms (skirts/pants) and a blue shirt. Only thing is that it’s school appropriate. I’m also 5’3! My mom is 5’4 and my sister is 5’2. We can all fit in the same shoe size. But body measurements? No. In kids sizes, we’re similar. I’m a kids 10 while my mom and sister are both size 8. I love your videos, Amber!!!

This has been a hack all my life and will continue to be a hack cuz sadly adult clothes never fit me right . But I save a lot of money. Just yesterday I found jeans for $4😱 one of my favorite stories Is when I bought a pair of Sailor Moon Vans that had just launched . The adult sizes were in the 80$-100$ cuz vans are just pricey in general . But….😏 the kid sizes were 60$ and below 😈 I was able to get a kids 2 1/2size . I wanted a pair so bad couldn’t afford that $100. The employees seemed ticked off and kept saying eh maybe it won’t fit let’s get the adult blah blah size. And just like Cinderella my foot perfectly fit in that kids size vans glass slipper MWAHAHHA. I never have problems with my size being out of stock either 🥰

I remember when I was that size and I did get some stuff in kids section. 30 years ago...Lol...That Versace dress is cute. So many cute things in Saks. I'm way up here in the Northen Cal. I pray you got the baby cardigan. I love especially with the outfit! Sidenote: I love how positive you are like I am. When you got put out you just kept on trucking lol 😮😅 then walking by the couples and being single and loving every bit of it and just saying how romantic. Oh my goodness, I usually do the same thing! I'm about 5'2 and I can wear kids clothes, and sometimes I do this for Nike shoes as well, like they have some super cute shoes that only come out in the Big Kid's size, and with the right calculations, I totally fit in those shoes!!
