I am going to a market in Istanbul for shopping before the holy month of Ramadan begins. I will show you what we have on the markets special for Ramadan from desserts to sherbets, pides to Ramadan packages for people in need, and more...

I cried when I watched your video, I used to come Turkey twice a year and now because of pandemic I haven't been there for 2 years because of corona, the best Ramadan ceremony in Sultan Amad, I don't have strong faith in Islam because of bad behaviour of my politician but every Ramedan that I have been in Turkey, I loved Islam, a lot of love from Iran

Enough of tv shows, movies and the news telling us what the world is like, I'd rather the world tell us freely. Would love to see more videos on daily life, parks, schools, anything, as long as it's genuine, not censored

Thank you so much for this wonderful tour of the grocery stores in Turkey and the products there. We like to travel and I always love to go to the local grocery stores and look all around at the foods and I always make sure to stay in a place that has a kitchen so I can cook with some of the ingredients I pick up in different places. It was really instructive and I’m not even sure what some of the things were but I really enjoyed it.

Hi Aysenur... I love to see different cultures and I love seeing yours above all things... There is no need to feel ashamed for not speaking English correctly, I live in American territory and I don't dare to speak it in public lol 🤷🏻‍♀️😁 As for The prices of the food, here in Puerto Rico the prices are also very high, although they are not the same products for a purchase like that with equivalent products I can easily spend between $ 100 to $ 150 dollars.

Loved seeing the Turkish supermarket. Formerly I only saw small markets and outdoor markets online. It's even larger than the U.S. for variety of selections, but so many more natural and fresh food products. I hope I can visit in person one day!

Salam alaikoum, have a blessed month for everyone who’s having Ramadan! I like your videos very much. Here in Holland we have some grosseries are expensive and some cheap. Mostly you can get alot for €100 but not for a family for a month. We have alot of supermarkets and every week they have other products on sale sometimes you buy 1 and get one free and sometimes 50%off so you can but more at once. I hope Allah wataa3la eas the struggle for everyone with hard times increase all your rizk (belongings)!

Ramadan Kareem sister. Great video as always, I felt like I was shopping too. Here in England, corn flour is called Cornmeal and corn starch is called cornflour. Your shopping would have cost me much more here because I would have to shop from a Turkish shop where a lot of products are imported. For items like lentils, cornmeal...we can find them at a very reasonable price at any local supermarket. Thank you for your informative and interesting video and for showing us special products that supermarkets bring around during Ramadan in Turkey.

Ramadan Mubarak Ayse! I'd say $100 for 3 people is pretty good for groceries. But its relative to your income as well. Also the difference between the yello stuff and white stuff is what we call cornmeal and corn starch. You already know cornstarch though. But that yellow stuff that feels like semolina is cornmeal. The bulgur, rice, olives, flour, semolina, cheeses, olive oil .....and much more will be used for more meals than one - and the cutting board will be with you a while! I was actually thinking just today about the expenses of living in turkey if ever I move there. Thank you for giving a clear idea of what to expect.
