Dave, Thanks for including all the ambient sounds, it’s nice to here the people and snippets of conversation. SO much better than overdubbed music. It’s great to see through your point of view, but hearing it all makes it more real. I like carnival glass, box cameras, animal figures with scary faces😸 and books.
I gotta go with jewelry Dave. Especially when you find that diamond in the rough..... cheap gold!! Fun to see how much $$$ you get when you take it to your lil' scrapper man. Thanks for always taking us with you!!!
Folk Art. Outsider Art. Primitives......Hunt 'em down! Would love to see more of those items, especially at Brimfield. Super enjoying these last three videos.
Love to see carnival glass and different old glass pieces. I'm trying to learn the difference that and Crystal pieces.TFS! So much fun and I love to hear you talk, your voice is very soothing!💞💞💞
Yer i agree vintage toys would be a fun challenge for you dave 👍 toys ,circus or horror posters, advertising signs altho i know they can be very expensive ,oddities, trench art 🔥🔥👍
@jimrick yer he's cool, iv been watching his vids for around 7 or 8 months now, to be honest I'm not exactly sure but I think he's located north east ish, he has said in his videos before you should delve into his archive of vids to find out 👍🏻 I'm in the UK and envy dave and ppl in the States that get to trash pick etc care free and not being bothered by ppl for taking others unwanted stuff. here in the UK trash picking is fround upon and police called for trash picking which I hate cus I love finding goodies ppl leave out.we have what they call fly tippers that dump goodies now n then. we don't have yard sales in the UK, We have a weekly car boot sales on a Sunday but not always good due to brittish weather 😂
Wow! Great stuff! Probably hard to find this time of year, but I'd love to see you find some vintage holiday stuff. Especially Halloween and Christmas!
I'm 70 years old and I've been picking for about 30 years … you're one of the best I've seen … certainly the best in human relations. I'm enjoying watching and learning.
I would love to see any wall art. Love old paintings, photos, prints, old ornate frames, etc. Also, love old books both adult and children's!! For some reason you never hear me shout "STOP! Look at that!! or Buy that!!" hmmm go figure lol I Really love absolutely everything!! That book of jewelry artwork is amazing!! Some of those would make great tattoos!! Also love that Dragon!!
This was awesome. I hope Brimfield opens again. Thank you for always thanking the vendors. I noticed your good manners from day one. Just wanted you to know how refreshing that is. Good role modle for young people. Thank you Dave for sharing.😊Delaware.
You scored Dave on the boxes of gears & goodys WOW I am dyin here with envy I am interested some of the gears if you sell some I make a few steam punk things?? you guys have a great night ✌🏼🌺✌🏼
Your markets over there are seriously incredible, looks like 'fresh' stuff ,,,, here in France it's rare to find anything that hasn't either been around the block several times or hasn't been horribly 'upcycled' ! Spending a day in that market would be Heaven !! thanks for sharing
You have chosen the best field to pick.!! I miss doing shows. Used to set up at Mays. Also New England. I am surprised to see so many empty spaces. Have fun.
OK here goes....American Brilliant Cut Glass perfume bottle. Stopper & base with matching hand etched #. Prefer Hoare, Hawkes, Libbey or Dorflinger. Not with the swirling star, but similar to a Star of David.✌
Wow....that was amazing! What I love seeing the most is your joy when you find an unexpected treasure. Hearing you say, “My best find of the day”, makes my day! ❤️
I love old vintage watch gears for my steampunk crafts. I've never seen so many cool things in one place. I love ur videos u find the most unique things.
I love your comment about millions of hours of picking.....all so collectors can buy. One initially doesn't think of picking as a career but hey it is, just like being a reseller! Good on you guys and gals!!!
So beautiful! I love turquoise and silver. Now and then you can get something cheaply on Ebay. I bet the Brimfield navajo stuff is probably pricey so might be hard to resell for profit. Sure is wonderful to look at though. The other day I bought a big turquoise and sterling signed pendant on ebay for 20 dollars because the seller thought it was a fake. Another time, same story paid 15 dollars for a big embossed mexican benchbead necklace. Loved them so can't bring myself to sell. I really agree with Dave. If you find sellers who have a huge amount of inventory and they can't be bothered to go though it, you may find some great things. It just takes some time and patience. :)
I love turquoise and have many pieces. My Mom's twin lived in Arizona years ago. When Mom would visit she would come home with something new. I didn't appreciate it until I was older. I asked for all her silver and my sister got the gold and diamonds. I agree, they probably want an arm and a leg at Brimfield. Good job on your Ebay finds.
U nailed it on the Pyrex they are some many u tubers that show there collection and they sale quick on Etsey love the Cinderella pattern I think that's the ones with the people around it white and pink go fast
Hello🙋Nice videos ..I love watching ❤👏🏻👏🏻 I have an obsession with (Skull art) 💀☠"not real ones"😅 or Nostalgia Halloween even.🎃 would love to see you pick some up.✌🏻
I like your videos but I like seeing you at the yard sales it,s better and I can imagine that the yard sales is cheaper to , but I would like to see you show pottery the big giant vases and pottery plate's and such .
I've been hearing about Brimfield for years. Thanks for the great tour, I really enjoyed it! You love going through the jewelry...what about trying to find some parts, pieces, for an antique Chatalaine? Maybe really old University stuff, Harvard, Yale...? I'm happy to have found your channel! Thanks!
Another great video dave thankyou for taking us shopping with you , when you shop the flea market Sunday I would love to see vintage toys such as monster related i.e. King Kong, Frankenstein , Godzilla etc... Along those lines , my mum would like you to film such Victorian items 😃
I saw the real life G.I. Joe/Ben today at J&J's field or Brimfield Auction Acres as it's now called. There was some real cool stuff there today but not in my price range unfortunately. Dave - you should pick some vintage house hardware like door knobs, light switch plates, house numbers, etc.
verry nice video again love it ! it relaxes me i am in the netherlands and go to flea markets as well but the ones in your country are way better ! much nicer items and in my opinion much nicer people . keep those vids coming i enjoy them al if possible and you want to make som shots at the metal toy cars and trucks espacialy the vintage ones it would be much apreciated havea good and blessing day
I VOTE FOR VINTAGE TOYS. AND, DAVE, YOUR CHANNEL HAS BECOME AN ADDICTION FOR ME. YOUR CONTENT IS WONDERFUL AND YOUR PERSONALITY IS HELPFUL FOR MORE RU-vidRS. YOU ARE A HUMBLE, DECENT AND GOOD MAN, BUDDY. I AM A ROOKIE IN THIS THING OF FLEA MARKETS BUT IS $500 FOR THOSE WATCH PARTS IS A BIT TOO MUCH? JUST ASKING, BUDDY. HOPE I DO NOT OFFEND YOU WITH MY QUESTION. GOD BLESS AND KEEP ON THE GOOD WORK! A+
The price waiting for the watch lot was painful! LOL! I set up next to you once in Lambertville. You sold a nice Calder print I would have liked to buy. Cool to watch what other people pick! Great channel!
MAY'S.......AHHHHHHHH , I REMEBER IT WELL ...........THE BEST FIELDS TO SHOP , ARE THE ONE'S WITH THE " SHOTGUN " OPENINGS..........GREAT SHARE...........
Hi from Scotland.I vote for vintage toys, although I love all the old tools.I also find myself trying to pick out pins and working out if you will buy it before you decide yourself.
We (or maybe I should say I) like watching you find gold and silver more than anything even though its most often in jewelry form. At least I do cause the yard sale and flea market people selling that stuff have missed out big time. And no that doesn't mean i like to see others lose just Dave and his family and friends to win is all.
I like found metal objects, all sorts. Odd, unique, vintage, antique boxes/bags of any material in any category. And artwork. On artwork, you would best select a style or an artist and pick up a little education on the subject; but it seems like the locale would lend itself to primitives. Extra points if you tick off all the boxes in one piece!.. like a vintage jewelry box of a particular style or covered with a particular decoration.
Min. 15:15 doorstop is probably an original from "The Mouseman" Robert Thompson (1876-1955). He was a well known furniture maker in Kilburn, North Yorkshire. Mostly used British Oak and carved a small mouse on everything (hidden or obvious like on bookends, cheese plates and a doorstop like this. Price UK £200.- to 300.- for collectors.
My vote is for vintage toys and video games. Nice score on the gi joes but I think some are corps figures not Joe's but couldn't really tell either way great deal on them but u should of bought the all my friend. P.s trash the shirt lol
Thanks for the video. It was fun to watch. You pass so many things I am interested in seeing. Those wood chairs with the leather seats were super cool. Do you ever see any paper art? Like Japanese paper cutting? Or lost wax casting pieces? Sand blasted glass? Stained glass?
