OMG!!!!. I traded a motorcycle for a Shopsmith 7-years ago. All of the spare parts and accessories came in 3 BIG boxes. Part of the trade was a Lathe Duplicator, in parts. This video just put all of the pieces together. Yours does seem to missing the Duplicator Guard, Item 21 on the diagram and Part # 514777.

An interesting trade. Indeed I am missing that guard but I have the parts to put it on. I'm used to wearing a face shield so the guard hasn't been a priority.

I noticed that was packaged in a Dewalt box. Was that a Dewalt product made for ShopSmith. What did that cost you? Liked video.

No no. I got it used on Ebay, so they packed it in what they had. As for what I payed, I'd have to go through my records.

I don't know how much expertise I really have, but thanks. The shopsmith is designed for smaller spaces, however now that I have moved I will have more.
