SHORE EXCURSIONS for the BUDGET CONSCIOUS | Alaska 2021 

We went on same trip thu Carnival. We had a balcony for more private viewing g of glaciers. It was cold outside and we went inside to warm up as needed. We had rain ,drizzle or fog on most portions days. We bought different clothing at each port for climate comfort. We got some great pictures,but once to Alaska is my bucket list Satisfied.😗

Do not ask siri just ask on the counter. Ngiting abot tenga Kahit ako basta may makikita akong Filipino community lalo na dyan te sa Alaska. Matutuwa ka talaga. Sayang yung pictures na may glares. Natulala lang ako sa ganda ng alaska habang nakikinig sa mga voice over mo te. Interesting yung salmon ah. Ma check ko nga.

Thanks so much for this. I was last in Alaska on the Jewel in 2019 and returning this year on the Encore. Sadly, Icy Straight Point is not on our trip. Last time we spent so much money on our excursions even though they were very much worth it. We love Skagway and plan to book several for our time there.

To see “ real Alaska “, get off the big ships and take a small ship cruise where the big boats can’t go, stay at a local family run wilderness lodge. By the way, been up here in Alaska the past forty years, worked in the tourism industry here for years!

(With special thanks to @Jon Kelly for his comment). Airport transfers through NCL are actually $25 per person each way vs $50 for taxi or Uber, which is about the same for a party of two. You get exclusivity in the latter vs. being with 30+ other passengers in the bus. However, on disembarkation it is a big plus to use the NCL airport transfer especially if you have a morning flight. The airport transfer group are in a separate exit line which is much shorter and much faster. Your luggage is also put in a separate area away from the general population's.

We will do excursions on our own, syempre! Budget conscious talaga tayo! Salamat naman sa NCL Encore at hinayaan nila ang passengers to choose. Bawat port stop ay paborito ko. Can’t get enough every stop. Icy Strait Point, wow! As in, 😲😲😲! Tapos maswerte talaga ang nag honeymoon “free” that day ang transporter! 😳 Hanggara ng nature, bonggang bongga! Gusto kong mag check in ng hotel or airbnb doon sa may beach. Yon po siguro yong nasabi ninyong maliit na village. Gusto ko one week tayo dun lang magstay. Skagway, Juneau, Ketchikan…ganyan lang ako 😳😳😳. As in tulo laway sa ganda ng lahat lahat. Tulo laway sa doughnuts 😋 sabay tawa sa di na naman nakaligtas ang appetite ng Daddy na dictated by the clock 😂. Teary eyed nang makita ang Manila Square, ganito pala ang epekto bilang patriotic. At nag-expect ng pasalubong kung kapitbahay lang sana tayo 😂…haha, pa-tshirt naman dyan (joke talaga). Nakita ko na naman ang salmon…doon pala yon. Ang swerte talaga walang gastos kayo dun tapos libreng libre gala gala sa paraiso! My most favorite is Glacier Passage! In love na in love ako at sobrang amazement sa lahat. Salamat po talaga sa magagandang kuha. Wow! Hangganda ng timing ng video sa ending. Dahil going home na…tapos holding hands while walking. Hangsweeeet lang talaga! Perfect! Beautiful! 1. Hi! How far is the Seattle airport from the port? Like how much did you pay for Uber, if you don’t mind please? 2. Also do you have any budget hotel recommendations? They are all so expensive and costs about $70 for transport to port. 3. Things to do in Seattle if we fly in the day before? 4. What about the weather when we travel to Alaska in June? 5. Also…excursions are so expensive. When we get to a port, do they have local ones we can go on that are not as expensive as booking one with the ship? Any and all advice would be appreciated. Ang galing galing nitong ginawa po ninyo, Mommy! Lahat sinabi po ninyo ang dapat malaman ng mga magku cruise. Haha, bakit ba hindi naisip na alam naman siguro ng taxi/Uber driver kung saan ang NCL swab testing. Ouch talaga yong $132 samantalang approximately $50 lang plus tip sa taxi. Ah, gayahin nalang natin ang sa doughnuts, vacation calorie don’t count. Haha, don’t count nalang po. Local bookings naman lahat ng excursions kaya sulit na sulit. Praise God ❤️

What camera were you using for the cable car shots? The camera appeared to be outside of the cable car. Same with the last shot with you on the deck and then waving to the camera. How were you able to get this shot? Would love to know name/ model if possible. Great video!
