Hello! My partner lives in Innisfil and I've always wondered what the fishing was like around here. I used to fish with my dad when i was a kid in his boat but hes been getting on in years and we no longer have the boat. I want to get back into the hobby but i know nothing about it so i'm glad i can shore fish and still catch stuff, I was always under the impression i needed a boat of some kind! I'm glad I found your video, im going to look around for some possible nice fishing spots at lake simcoe. cheers thanks for the video!
Thanks for watching! Innisfil has some of the best perch waters in lake Simcoe. Right now should be good shore fishing off the pier at Innisfil Beach park and there is another gov dock beside lake Simcoe marine that is really good this time of year too. Would be good if you could fish off the docks in Friday harbor but I don't think it's possible. The government dock at side road 30 off big bay point can be good too. Good luck!
man, I can't believe how dead that place is! Shows how much the perch festival used to draw people in to fish. I lost my bobber in that big tree between the two white boat bumpers last weekend lol
What’s a good spot for shore fishing here at lake simcoe? Trying to get into the hobby but lack information around these parts, I’m near downtown Barrie
Go to the dirt road with the blue roofed barn, make three consecutive lefts, come around to the backside of the ridge and head down to the dead end road called NONE YA, and you'll see us all there
