Sir I'm getting error when I try to generate transect, it shows " Optional field not found in shoreline layer: shoreline. DATE "... In this case what should I do
Have you created the DATE column in shorelines shapefile? if yes, then check the date format as mentioned and change your system's date format as MM/DD/YYYY format
Sir, why have you put two dates in the column of Acquired Date in the Excel sheet? and my datasets belong to the month of January, February and March. how will i find the seasonal error for these dates?
I have written two dates because this area is comes under 2 different dates and I have to mosaic 2 satellite images. But if your area comes under only one satellite image, then you can write only that acquired date. Mostly Winter season has 0 seasonal error. but if you take summer or rainy season or 2 different seasons, then seasonal error will change. So try to take winter season time satellite images it will also be cloud less.
Sir, when calculating statistics its showing error how to overcome this, ? And when label transects it showing 0 to all transects ,. How to label those correctly
sir, sorry to bother you again. I need to calculate LRR and NSM only in that case shall I only select LRR from the 'select statistics to calculate' box and then also LRR in the 'rate for colour ramp display'? Or are the LRR attribute values that I have while doing WLR like in the video enough? And if I want to calculate EPR do I have to create databases separately for two - to two years and perform the DSAS analysis?
you can select your required parameter to calculate. But for displaying the rates on canvas you need to run separately. like one time for NSM & one time for LRR from colour ramp display.
Sir, should we not trace the inner boundary line as the baseline? since the land(coast) area is inward. why are we tracing outer boundary as the baseline? please tell sir 🙏
@@dawnofgeospatialworld what value do you suggest I put in the 'Default Data Uncertainty' space if I don't want to consider tidal effects? it should be close to 0 right?
@@dawnofgeospatialworld i did everything right but at the end it give me this (DSAS Error --------------------------- An unexpected error occurred. Please refer to the log file (C:\Users\Mustapha\AppData\Roaming\Corona Environmental Consulting\DSAS v5 add-in\DSAS_log.txt) for additional details after closing ArcMap. 🥲🥲
Month wise data are also available there. Otherwise take 2-3 meter for Bay of Bengal and 5-10 meter in Arabian sea. (Check avg tide height at that season in google)
if possibly you you can help us drop your addin setup link on google drive to download trying to work in the standalone version 6, but not loading up the GeoJson shore files to progress the process.
Can we use this data for any country? If not, how to generate data. And in case the tide gauge data for My country is not available on the PSMSL website? How can I get uncertainty . My country TOGO (West Africa) Thanks you for all
