🔱 3rd episode (5 total) of the Triton Poker Cyprus 2022 short deck cash game featuring: Daniel "Jungleman" Cates, Ferdinand Putra, Paul Phua, Michael Watson, Elton Tsang, and Danny Tang.
🃏 Short deck: 36 cards (2’s thru 5’s removed). Flush beats a full house. Ace acts as high (TJQKA) and low (A6789) for making straight (so acts as A and as 5). No blinds, but ante only and double ante on the button.

What I really appreciate about this series so far; Great quality on the players audio - I wanna hear the banter at a cash table. Great commentary that doesn't get in the way of players banter either. Funny and great big players. Overall quality of video and setting. Thanks Triton! :D

can someone please explain to me why jungleman would checkback a flopped straight in position and let 3 other people see a free turn card, then proceed to bet when the board pairs, and then overbett when backdoor flush gets there. that hand was horendousley played.3 other people saw a turn card, someone could have easily rivered flush.

Ace counts as the low card in straights in short deck as well, so technically an 8 improves his hand to A(5)-6-7-8-9

equities run much closer in short deck, T9s basically flips against AKs so you'll see a lot less preflop raising and reraising than you will in hold 'em since everyone is more likely to have a decent holding and therefore more likely to play back at you pre.
