We shot a short film in 3 hours one Saturday with the Panasonic GH6 camera and some vintage tele lens. This clips is like a metaphysics lecture, with some story elements. Shot in Helsinki with the help of 100s of extras, who didn't even realise the were in a movie.

The narrative was so relatable I felt the emotions you described that easily was amazing to experience, after a long time I FELT the same connection as watching a conversational part from THE BEFORE TRILOGY!

Did you use face detection/tracking to keep focus as you walked toward the camera, or did the operator rack focus? The autofocus works ok with native lenses, but you mentioned vintage lenses. I enjoyed the film. Did you shoot log and color? 5.6K? It looked great. Perfect skin tones.

This was a manual vintage lens. The focus puller was a pro. :D It's was shot in log and color graded in ACES lite.

Love the long lens shots, especially the opening one. Who pulled the focus there and what kind of system did you use to pull it off? It must have been super hard, especially with that vintage lens... A little gripe though: The audio feels a bit weird as you keep moving towards and away from the camera and your audio stays completely consistent... PS: Billie, don't you lose my number!

Thanks. The focus puller is a pro, and it was just with hand and Atmos ninja 5 monitor with focus peaking. Good point with the audio.
