I think that probably the 1969-1983 Cadet on Flushometer is on a 1.6 gpf diaphragm, causing it to use less water, and the 1982-1983 3.5 gpf Madera is on a 3.5 gpf diaphragm. The Cadet needs a 3.5 gpf or a 4.5 gpf diaphragm! Love both of these toilets, and they’re absolutely epic and legendary in my opinion!
Too much water pressure and volume will cause the whirlpool to overflow. Reduce water volume and/or pressure if on flushometer. It has also overflowed on a > 5 gallon test tank high in the air. YT OCCPlumbing has vids on demoing this. Lovely pants wetter, if seated, when it happens! 🤣 Love to have a Cadet on flushometer at home. Too late. I rent now and stuck with horrible terlits!
Would be easy to place the well tank someplace convenient out of sight and run the 1" PVC in/through the wall and then have it hook up to a standard chrome flushometer. Lotta plumbing guys have this setup at home and in their back yards testing terlits and making YT vids. Never mind plumbers wanting $10,000 fir this and upgrading the city water meter to 1" for higher perpetual water bills...
Few folks have these commercial toilet types in their private homes, but in order for that, they had to have their plumbing system improved to a commercial heavy duty type that could accommodate such a toilet that requires high water pressure 1" diameter supply line for example since most private home plumbing systems are lighter duty with a 1/2" to 3/4" diameter lower pressure water pipe supply line & those usual private home toilets are supplied water from its tank whereas a superior commercial toilet like these are high powered flushes using a flushometer valve pipe. I'd prefer having these commercial flushometer type toilets in my private home, but I lack the heavy duty plumbing equipment & water system to accommodate such a toilet.
@@davidchriscastillo2499 Thank You BUTT BUTT I would Gladly pay the price to install such a device. Even go out and put a commercial Air Compressor for added pressure. LOL. Thank You Again
I'd like to have this toilet commercial flushometer type in my home, but under current circumstances, it's impossible for now. Perhaps sometime in the future when conditions improve, a new, superior spanish style home not yet constructed may have planning for 3 of these toilet types having the required heavy duty plumbing equipment to accommodate such high powered flush toilets. My favorites are the Crane Placidus, American Standard Afwall, the Kohler Stratton Waterguard k-4450-c & the Acorn stainless steel toilet that also mounts to the wall mostly used in parks + prisons.
We have the seat bidets and bidet hose sprayers, just not the extra bathroom fixture except in very expensive homes. Requires major architectural and plumbing changes for it. WWII soldiers saw bidets in Europe used mostly by prostitutes and those men didn't feel it necessary to bring it to the US on that reputation alone, never mind the cleanliness aspect of it. Japan has led the way for us to get it.
