This is exactly how i cut hair at my salon, other stylist think that its too time consuming but it is so very precise.

This is how it's SUPPOSED to be done. These kids today do a lot of disconnected cutting which isn't REALLY cutting and any ley person can disconnect cut but a TRUE CUT LIKE THIS, it takes SKILL. Perfect cut and styling. BRAVO. Simply BEAUTIFUL and elegant.

@tjsj323232 in order to get a precision cut, scissor over comb is the method to use... Yes, it will take more time to acheive the fade but you will get a more precise cut! More control and it's a sexier look on a woman... Using guards can cause a woman to look more masculine...

that hair cut is so beautiful im in cosmetology school and they do not teach you how to taper and blend hair like this. Do you have any video where you have the cut from beginning to end, in this video the clients hair was already cut. Im looking to learn the entire process.

@314kimmy Thank u... Yes I am a lefty and it is hard to learn from a right handed stylist!! When you're watching a right handed person cut hair, look past their hand position and focus on the cutting technique. If you Master this it would become easier for you...

@Flyhairgirl You're welcome. Would you also call the tapering you did on the sides a shadowed fade? I'm relaxing my hair tomorrow (myself) then getting it tapered on the sides and in the back, I just wanted to make sure I use the right term(s).

OMG!! That is how i want my hair cut. I LOVE doing hair and i only let one person do my hair but i wanna cut my own hair. I really DON"T think it'll be possible for me to do this on my self. I did pretty close. Question: before you started the cut tutorial, did you set her hair and if so what did you use? I have a GOOD grade of hair BUT it likes to curl up before and after perms so it's pretty hard to lay down thats y i keep it short!!
