Short INTERNATIONAL connection at Frankfurt: possible? 

We're connecting at Frankfurt Airport on Lufthansa routing Heathrow - Frankfurt - Miami. We've 1 hour and 40 minutes from arrival to push back, connecting from a non Schengen to a non Schengen flight. I've heard some horror stories connecting at this airport, especially on international flights. We have checked luggage too, so let's see if we can make it.
