4:15 Markiplier says he's 5'10. When he "spent a day with" Anthony they stood side and side and he's only slightly shorter than Anthony (who according to Google is 5'11). Apparently people think Markiplier is short because all his friends are like 6'4
@@jayhay8 like I said; Markiplier himself said he's 5'10 and in the video he looked less than an inch shorter than Anthony. Do you have a source that supersedes the word of the man himself?
I'm 5'9" and have met Mark at a con. He's a smidge shorter than me, and we were both wearing similar style flat sneakers. Now, some of that can be posture and other factors, like you can be shorter near the end of the day due to compression, etc. but I'd say he's either a short 5'9" or about 5'8"
i can't believe Link from the Legend of Zelda isn't included in this! In BOTW/TOTK specifically he feels SO SHORT. like, make him talk to any NPC and he'll be looking up 99% of the time. absolute king
Super surprised that Josh Hutcherson wasn't included on this rank list. His Hunger Games costars would always tower over him in photo ops! Robert Downey Jr. as well
There’s an interview where Zendaya talks about how she didn’t think she’d get the role because she was too tall and they discuss their height difference and it’s so open and refreshing. Tom was robbed here.
@@Willy_Warmer the judgement parameters include not feeding into toxic masculinity- if the tier list was strictly based on height, there would be no discussion outside of measurements
Hey I'm kinda new to new smosh and I have a question if it's not too much. I've heard Spencer and Kiana name come out together a few times so I'm curious are they like best friend or?
It annoyed me that tall people's opinions were considered in the list 😡😡 they need to make a new one and tell the peanut gallery to find their own community short king community is for short kings
Genuinely there should be a God Tier for Danny DeVito. He comes across as so kind and wholesome whilst also being eccentric and bizarre. And to add to the Matilda, He and Rhea cared for Mara Wilson who played Matilda during filming as her parents would have to tend hospital appointments as her Mother was battling cancer, and passed just after filming. Mara says Danny was a huge help in her grieving. If that doesn't say good human and the True Short Royalty, I don't know what does.
I've read that he's grumpy. Doesn't mean he's a bad person at all. He's had to deal with a lot of BS in his career, so it's understandable to a degree.
I don't know anything about his personality, but I've been in love with his acting since I saw The station agent over 20 years ago. He was the only reason I even bothered trying to watch game of thrones
Does Spencer think of the edits for these videos as they happen when he is on camera? The one picture of Elijah wood followed by Spencer laughing to himself in between the pics of Daniel Radcliffe make it seem like he had that idea at that exact moment lol
I'm grateful that i was born argentinian and 1,72 cm (i think around 5 7), i'm considered average height, not tall and not short. I couldn't bare to live in USA and your insane male height parameters.
I mean.. I'm in love with Vegeta. He's S tier for me, the unkind part gradually vanishes and he's a surprisisingly loving family man :') Also.. unlike Goku; he seems to be far more aware of his actions and interactions with other people. (Although that's not something I'd consider a feat X'D ) Both Shayne and Spencer are S tier for me.
Tom Holland deserves better! Man is so kind and does a bunch of work with his charity! I met him once, and I was a star struck mess and he was just a sweetheart!
Eh he’s almost 5’7” which isn’t that short…in the U.S. it typically is borderline average. But yes I agree he deserves higher placement. The problem is he once said he was 5’7.5” (which is where the 5’8”) figure came from, and 5’8” isn’t short in most places except for parts of Europe
I love the quote where Daniel Radcliffe said that every time he's insecure about his height he just says to himself "I'm fucking Harry Potter" and he feels better
Frankie does not have a memory problem. Watch his interview with Steve-o. He just remarked that he's done so many things and that Malcolm in the Middle was filmed so long ago that he doesn't recall a lot of the details. The reporters took that statement and blew it out of proportions.
I can agree with most this list. Still feel like Tom Holland should be at least an A tho. He had clear goals and achieved all of them while being the nicest person.
You left out Jeremy Renner! He's 5'8" and is a quality human being and does help the community♡ I'm a short queen myself at 5'3" and like having people to look up to like Jeremy Renner...maybe do another list? Medium kings??? Edit: Jeremy Renner should be A tier, especially with the accident he had while trying to help someone in a snow storm (I had a mental breakdown for a week when he was in the ICU)
I’m so ready to throw hands over Stuart Little. You’re gonna give him a high rank when Remi from Ratatouille would kick his ass. Stuart little has known no struggle in comparison. Remi was out in the streets, in sewers. Stuart lived in two different houses had a convertible and a boat.
I don't remember when this interview came out in relation to this video, but Zac Efron has come out and said how damaging his muscular physique was and it wasn't necessarily his own addiction but Hollywood's. He acknowledged how completely unattainable that is
I haven't finished but I hope James Mcavoy is on this list 🙏 favorite short king Edit: my favorite person did not make the list but I hope he makes it to the next video if you do have one! The S tier on this was perfect
Knowing jack black is only one inch taller than me rocks my world, I imagined him as a guy who could hug you and just set his head on yours in a nice comforting way
Y'all need to learn more about Darren Criss as you have two Smosh members that are a part of Starkid that he and his friends founded ;) Totally agree with Daniel Radcliffe!! He's amazing!
@@chaos_shroomie Josh in the "Who Knows Our Crew Best?" video said that he played bass guitar for Starkid for a few gigs, so he's more behind the scenes for both Smosh and Starkid but still there :)
I would only contest to Charlie being a C. Being a 5’6” king myself, alongside Sir Charles of Moist, he has frequently referred to his height as a “staggering”, “respectable”, and “Optimal” stature. A true short king amongst Short Kings. Very noble to The Cause
I have been sitting here watching and grinding my teeth waiting for them to bring DeVito in, and I was going to be furious if they didn’t include him or didn’t rank him the highest
@@lozzavermy I guess so, I just remember one of his songs coming on years ago and I had to google the lyrics cause I couldn’t believe he was saying some of that shit and still somehow generally well-liked
@@AnarchyStockers this might come as a shocker to non/casual listeners of his music, but his "persona" in his albums have always been that of a toxic person and the character has always been self-aware in it. And since he packages his albums as concept albums, people interpret them as him worldbuilding (especially since he's always been referencing movies) with some inspirations from real life. It's most perhaps because of The Idol that the mystique of his The Weeknd character is starting to really dawn on people that he might been just a regular asshole all along with not as much self-awareness as he made himself out to be, outside of the worlds he built. Also worth noting that when he released his first 3 mixtapes, later compiled as his first album, no one even knew if The Weeknd was a band or a solo group or what he looked like. And even rarely does interviews. It's him maintaining the "mystique". Not trying to justify his whole thing, just giving insight into why many people are having recent breakdown of his mystique. English is not my first language so I'm sorry if I'm not as coherent/eloquent.
@@akshay9602i think it’s because modern famous men tend to be on the taller end, plenty of male actors are 6ft or above, so in contrast being average height and famous makes you seem short
Love that there was a picture of Elijah Wood during the Daniel Radcliffe segment 🤣 I’m hoping that was intentional since they are frequently confused with the other!
Jack Black isn’t a short king because we cannot perceive his physical form. His vibes are so immaculate we do not even register as him HAVING A height. Jack Black is a KING PERIOD
What a supportive and positive video! They didn't mention it, but Warwick Davis has done even more to warrant an S-tier ranking. He started a theatre company called Reduced Height Theatre Company that staged a production of a classic British farce that was cast entirely with little people. The play's not about little people, but Davis gave a cast of short kings and queens a chance to play in a farce. He also started a talent agency called Willow Management that represents actors under 5' (and also over 7').
@@bilbofaggin5 Soccer is the actual name and it was named soccer by the brits. Look it up. Nobody even started calling it football until the 1970's which was well after the USA had created actual football, and established the NFL. For the record, I don't give a damn about either sport, but the history of the names is hilarious to me.
@@bilbofaggin5 Soccer, football, and rugby are all related and vaguely based from the same ancient medieval games, but the accounts vary. Rugby sprung up somewhere in the 1820's but nobody has a specific date that they are 100% sure on. Soccer was officially codified (and named soccer) in England in 1848. Football was codified in America more than a century later in 1974. Early versions of the game included significantly more kicking than the current version, thus the name. In 1976 the NFL (National Football League) was created and patented in the USA. A few years later (early 1980s) Europe was working on consolidating a lot of their sports leagues. Many countries had their own ball kicking games that were played casually, and they were all very similar to British soccer with various names and slightly differing rulesets, so when they brought them all together, they called them all by their common denominator of being played primarily with your feet and called it "football". This meant that most countries, including England, largely abandoned their own names for the game and started calling it football. America on the other hand, refused to go along with the group because the NFL had patented their name several years before, and didn't want to change it, so football remained football and soccer remained soccer. So yes. American football is the real football.
@@samarmstrong3651 although I would remind you that the name 'soccer' came from 'assoccer', short for association football... so... it was called football first 😉
@@iamallamaninjaI still think about "my mom's a b*tch!" whenever I see her. it's one of my favourite lines in the show, it feels like it comes out of nowhere.
As a tall queen (6ft) these are my favourite smosh boys, also Spencer’s reaction to Kiana saying she’d give him an S is too cute. this video was so fun!
@Yaint Sheet I'm 6'3 and I did date even a guy 5'3 and we were great together. No idea how it goes for women to date shorter guys tho... Hopefully not a big deal...
