Just a quick video on when I'm short on gold in MCOC, I get mine this way. I'm sure many of you do the same, but also some may not know how to get gold in alternate ways.. This is just one way of many!

Never realised how quickly gold depletes now that I have 2 5*s I want to r4... I can't find myself holding onto any gold

I really hate that kabam does not allow us to sell right away from stash instead of collecting then sell, collecting, wait for kabam server as it crashed, then sell, collect, nope wait for servers again, collect and sell. same thing with the dumb system of getting help or helping allies, just make it HELP ALL ffs instead of clicking on each one and wait for server to accept or the dumb help 4 button

The game is based on player grind. Without grind, the game dies. Most players hate this model. Those that stay (less than 1% of players) are hooked on grind. This kind of player stays a lonoooong time in the game.

There is a reason why all the Arena grinders have a crazy amount of gold... I'm sitting on 30 million myself and have around 6k ISO's in the overflow, between myself and another arena grinder we supplement all the gold for the Alliance I think we have a good 17 million in the treasury at the moment.

A nice refresher that is always needed. One thing I would add is to use class specific ISO to conserve gold on your level ups. Sell the basic ISO that is uneeded and use class specific whenever you can. E.g. 5000 ISO becomes 7500 ISO when using the specific class.

Now find me gold without having to grind arena. All of my time I have available to play this game is spent in AQ/AW or questing. Just don’t have time to do arena, and don’t enjoy it at all.

I grind for BC for units & gold, dungeon for gold, and yeah try to get PHCs and 3 and 4 star crystals to dupe ISO for both gold and rank up material. Being in a good alliance that meets rank targets in milestones also helps with getting crystals to pull dupes from.

I sell iso a week ahead for gold. I haven’t dropped below 5 million gold over a year and yes I do rank ups also.

Save gold crystals until the 20% Summoner Appreciation happens. Also sell the ISO during that event. Do it once year and haven't had any issues with gold. But then again you have to hope Kabam is going to do that event

Pro is miles faster and smoother. But all gameplay on iPads period is just a tad wonky.

I have the most recent one. But if I were you, I’d wait till the new one comes out. Shouldn’t be too far away. Will give you either the newest one, or it will make the current one cheaper. Win win :$

This is a great method, if you have all the champions. And unless you pay a lot of money or are WAY into the endgame this isn’t very good

Bro you can go to mastery setup and unlock the golden mastery you will get more gold when doing quests or u can sell ISO or you can play arena and open arena crystals then get tons of gold, Thankyou

I'm a lower account player... I have 6M gold. Was grinding for 3 star champs on the regular for months. In burnout mode right now, but I expect to grind for gold via 3 star new champs in future. The scores needed for 4 star new champs are laughably oversized.

that's because the amount of points that 4 stars gain is much more than what a 3 star would gain.

Actually, the numbers are inflated by players running programs to run arenas for them. I understand that there currently is a device to physically attach to your phone now, so it's untraceable. If Kabam would set X rounds earns a champ, at one hour's worth of fighting, it would be sane. And likely sales of the cheats would drop off. I watched some high end arena players and they earn champs with very little effort through maxed champs and high end mastery arrangements. The deeper you are in the game, the more it caters to you. Thanks to the wonders of RU-vid, we can see my 100$ dropped in July can get me 4 stars, and the same 100$ for an endgame player gets them 6 stars. I'm dropping out. In Kabam's language I'm banning myself. (For at least 2 months. Day 1, and I feel a lot less anxious as as these time-gated pressures are gone.)

Yeah iso selling is my top 2 ways of getting gold. If you don't arena you can't cry about gold between iso from dupes and BCs you get plenty

I take that back, iso selling is pretty good, just not worth it if you have a lot of champs to level up.

Do you only use the Class ISO when ranking up, or do use the basic also?

Both, and sometimes I even use off class iso. Whatever gets the job done. However, if I’m being economically sound in terms of gold usage. Then I plan my rank ups with the right class to save on gold.

ok so run the basic 4 star and the featured 4 star arena ... are there any other arenas you recommend?

Depends on what you’re trying to build. But basic and feature 4* are the ones that give both 4 and 5 star shards. The 4 star shards are important for your four star roster in increasing your ability to dupe your champions. That’s where the iso comes into play. As well as your ability to max sig your 4 star champions to give you that coveted 550 shards per dupe instead of 275!

Ive gotten to the point with 4*s now that I rarely ever get a new one. Besides the newer champs I basicly have them all (few exceptions) but ya, I just took 2 5*s to r4, duped Ægon & Havok. Leveled them up to max immediately and still had to sell ISO before it ran out or other classes. It can be annoying to have so much and not be able to use it but atleast you get the gold

That’s what the arena explanation was about in order to gain the shards necessary to create dupes that create iso.

1.5-1.6 usually nails it for me. Sometimes the champ has such low interest you end up getting the champ too in that range.
