Thanks for the review, awesome!! I just started playing 50+ and normally swing an ASA 25 oz Monsta Torch. I'm thinking about getting this bat because I like balanced bats, but was wondering if it feels heavy like the Torch. Should stay with a 25oz when I order the Wig Popper or go up to a 26 oz because it swings lighter? Thanks ahead of time and keep up the great work!

So the torch doesn’t have much hand weight which is a plus. I have no problem switching back and forth between my torch and 26oz wig popper.

Thanks for video. Did the barrel seem soft, medium, or hard ? I have the red wig popper. After about approx. 300 swings the barrel still seems a little stiff/hard and I still am not getting that wow factor people are talking about. My Anarchy Old Smash 121 Proof is out distancing it by a good 15-20 feet. Do not get me wrong it is a good bat, but, have others that are out performing it. Coming from somebody whose swing speeds tops out at 80-81 mph when loosened up.

Medium i guess but I go by what’s hot or not. Majority of the time if a barrel is soft it’s because the compression is very low.

If this is anything like the red Wig Popper it will not last if you have high bat speed. Super hot out of the wrapper but didn’t last 100 swings for me

Performance wise it’s very similar….durability wise is better…we ended up getting 300 swings on it…but after about 25 swings I would only swing it in games….

Was it a matte finish? How did the paint hold up? The Hat Trick I had flaked like crazy.

Not as endload of course, bat swings good through the zone like a balanced bat should…as for balanced bats, this is easy top 3 - in my opinion…the loading in the red one will help with distance but other than that they perform similar and the durability is outstanding

25 oz Dabomb, but that balance wig popper is top notch….I’m getting a 26 balanced one as soon as they’re in stock…..

Im wanting to order new bat today and im trying to decide between the red wig popper (if still available) the Dudley team mastery holy ghost and the easton empire Maurio Foster... i bat 4th on my team and line drive hitter, but would like to start putting some out of the field. I get lots of gappers and inside park HRs and triples, but again want some to start going out. Adding durability as well. What would you choose? Or is there something better im missing that might be earlier year bat? Ive watched your top 5 with this bat in it. I like end load bats

Foster- is sold out everywhere Red Wig Popper- great bat for power Black / yellow team mastery- one of my favorites Holy Ghost - great bat but behind team mastery

@FatGuyBP I ordered this year's model twice accidentally because 1st order somehow auto filled wrong address. Actually, I spoke with Mike afterwards even though he's in a tourney out of state right now. He told me out of wrapper, last years model is way hotter, but after apunf 150-200 swings, I'd want this one if I seen other people using it. So now I'm stuck trying to decide whether switch my order to last years model or spend the time trying to break in the new model. Wish I could just buy both but can't. F'ing softball dilemmas lol

@FatGuyBP btw, I ordered it before seeing your response as well. Otherwise, I would have went with last years model as suggested, over this years model. I seen you hitting homeruns with the HG though, which is what pushed me in that direction before getting your response. Think I'm gonna cancel and switch. Thanks for getting back to me.
