Short Ram Air Intake for 2012 Mazda 3

Thanks for the helpful vid. Which model 2012 Mazda 3 do you have? I was looking at the description on HPS's site and there intakes are for the Mazdaspeed 3 2.3L. I have a 2010 Mazda 3 Sport Hatchback 2.5L and I'm not sure if this intake will still be compatible.

When I installed mine it seems to be sucking in too much air. At times when I accelerate my RPMS will jump from 3k to 4.5k than drop to 3.5k could it be my MAS is bad. I made sure that everything was tight.

So, this will increase full consumption reducing efficiency?

Also, my passenger window won't open or close. Why's that?

Do you guys think there's much difference between the lower priced intakes and the pricier ones? What should I consider, because I must do this. It's a matter of safety and response. Thank you. (If the taxes weren't so high in Jersey, I'd move up there. I love y'all!)

Could you guys install a louder horn? I also need to do that, because my horn is wimpy whining, alerting no one.

Did you ever a notice a boost in fuel economy?

I got a Mazda MPV 2008 turbo. Family people mover but it's got some gas. Can I add a performance intake to that?

Can you hear the intake you put in sucking in air?
