With home prices crashing back down to earth, the buyers who bought at the top are facing a troubling conclusion-they may owe more than their home is worth. Oftentimes this fact alone can force many homeowners to want to sell instead of hemorrhaging equity as the market drops. As an investor, this presents an interesting opportunity to buy and help alleviate a seller’s troubling situation without them falling into foreclosure.

If the seller’s reinstatement fee is too high on the house then it would not be a good subject to deal.
