All reports show she grew up solely in Germany. Just because her father is Gambian doesn't meant spent any extended time in Africa. Visiting family DOES NOT equal growing up there!!
@@HannahDisponettshe was born in New York, grew up in Gambia in a village, then moved to germany and grew up there too. She herself has mentioned this, as well as mentioning that she is African (Gambian) and German at the same time. I doubt she was just visiting family, but I guess we know their lives better than they do right?
@@prettyugly, she lived in Gambia until she was 2...how is that growing up there? Her family moved to Berlin when she was preparing to start school...she stayed there until college where she attended Oregon. So she GREW UP in Germany, NOT Gambia!!
