Just a short dig video of some prospecting in Alabama...cut short by a rain storm. Did get a couple nice embossed ten pin blob top mineral water bottles, some nice 1880s medicines, etc
Dave it looks like you and your wife had a great time finding treasure. I will be looking thru yer ebay store for some that are for sale. I really liked the Dr. Pepper bottle and the Lebanon Swirl bottle. I put em both in my living room display, they are real beauties! I work too much and am too old to be going around to do much digging so I will rely on you and your family to find em and I will buy em. Thanks again for all you dig! God Bless you and your family!
Hey thanks so much for buying those two sodas from us. I'm glad you like them. Let us know if you have anything in particular you may be looking for...we'll do our best to make you a good deal if we have anything you cant live without...haha. Thanks for watching...hopefully better digs coming soon! 😀
"Haven't had much to cheer about so I'm gonna lay it on thick" 🤣🤣🤣😲 Always enjoy watching your hunts, Dave! Enjoyed that bit of humor, too! Hopefully your next dig will be full of goodies! Take care, be safe and God bless!
No worries brother. Life is full and we are thankful for your testimony and what you do share. Sometimes we think we are alone, yet Jesus is everywhere and we have brothers and sisters all over the world. We are never alone. May God bless your family
We sure thank you for staying with us and not giving up on us. We've not put out any videos for awhile...but hopefully we can get back on track now. God bless you! 🙂
Yea, it was around zero degrees when I left home in Illinois. It was sweet there on the Gulf Coast, but heavy rains had everything pretty soggy. Hopefully next trip will be drier? Paul and I are planning on digging tomorrow if possible so stay tuned...
Well thank you so much Linda...that means a lot to us. Sorry we havent been active in awhile...well, I've been digging but didnt record the videos....{shame on me!)..Hopefully we can get into some goodies soon. 🙂
Hi Pat and Pam....well God bless you two! Yea, that water sunk me on that dig, so I was glad the Lord blessed me with one spot I could dig a few little things. Sorry it was getting dark and my camera wouldnt focus. I was too lazy to go back to the van to get a light....haha. Good luck in your digs....cant wait to see what ya'll find! 😀
Well it wasnt the greatest finds, but at least I finally got a spot I didnt hit water. I have some deep holes to look forward to digging in the future when it dries up a bit....stay tuned brother! 😀
Hey Dave it's the guy you met back in November in Hillsboro my buddies band was playing there and I met you told you I bought bottles from you way back when you had a booth at Litchfield Dians chicken coops and about me digging a Gillespie medicine bottle in cobalt wolf and wolf I play guitar... Well I'm in Miami right now me and my wife are getting on a cruise tomorrow heading for Puerto Rico .
Hey Mark....thanks for dropping me a note. Yes, I remember you well and hope we can get together after you get back from your cruise. (I"m so jealous of you....playing guitar, going on cruises, etc...man, you are livin the dream!). Well, please stay in touch as I'd love to do some diggin with you soon. I'll show you a couple spots there in Gillespie I dug back in the 1980s...I know there is more to dig! Have fun and be safe my friend!🙂
Aww thanks...I know it wasnt much, but its the best I could do considering I hit the water table almost everywhere I dug. I hope you have an awesome week buddy! 🙂
Those blob top skittles are a nice find they'd 1910era wouldn't they? quite a few companies used those here in Australia then for a brief time changed over to crown seal skittles, God bless you and your family.
Thanks so much for watching. Yea, those CARL SHULTZ blobs are probably from the 1890s or early 1900 era. The initials stand for Central Park Mineral Water I think? Cheers mate....God bless ya'll🙂
Hey buddy 15 minutes is better then nothing , I loved your statement, it looks cool but not cool at all 😂😂😂 couple of nice bottles brother Trust in him , he will provide 👍
Howdy Jim....how have you been brother? We've been praying for you, as I know you've been going through a lot. When I lost my brother it was pretty tough, but the Lord gives us strength doesnt He? Have you been able to get out to dig? God bless you Jim! 😀
@@diggerdaveshovelinshelleyb8057 Absolutely Dave the Lord does provide strength, went digging about month or so ago nothing special , I have a Privy possibility that I have to probe , hopefully I will get permission to dig , just have to ask 👍
Yea, Shelley would have come with me, but she had been called out on a big job and couldnt miss. Maybe she can take early retirement and we can travel the country....now THAT would be totally awesome! ...talk about some fun videos!😀
I sell bottles up to the 1950s they go fast all for ten to twenty dollars. Since the bottle craze is hitting all of America people buy any vintage bottles
That's awesome! I know I should start digging post 1920 dumps that I know of, but I suppose I'm just spoiled. There are a lot of bottles and doo dads from the 1930s and 40s that are saleable, but just not much that I want to keep myself.
Wow, there's my ticket brother!....I could be a rich man if I had $20 for every slick milk bottle I've dug...haha. I'm not that far from Marion....the problem is, I havent kept most of the slick milks I've dug...boohoo! Thanks for watching...😀
