Special birthday treat with an overnight stay at HIGHFIELD hotel, Driffield uk and a beautiful walk in the grounds garden and woodland, with its birdsong and running water. We stayed in the cosy Sketch ‘West End Boudoir’ room, enjoyed breakfast, to die for cocktails and delicious evening meal. Highfield was built in 1864 and reimagined in 2022 by international design duo Andy and Lindsey Lampard. This country manor house hotel is winning awards and has 5-star recognition. We love this beautiful boutique hotel of antique flamboyance, local arts, crafts of bringing old in to new. The staff are lovely, What a great venue for a wedding/events venue/films etc. or a relaxing stay close to the wild life and cliffs of the Yorkshire coast.
