I haven't figured the right settings for the audio yet, and the external recorder sits in a pocket on my lower back and is sometimes pushed against the backrest, making some crazy noise.
I am looking to buy my first cruiser bike, and I am deciding between a Kawasaki VN900 and this Yamaha XVS 950 (or Star V-Star 950 in the American market). A shop in the area was kind enough to let me test ride the latter.

Thanks, I haven’t heard the stock one but I really like this one, not too loud but beefy. I bought the bike used like this just two weeks ago

I just purchased a 14' vstar 950 with the cobra slip on. I love these bikes. they sound and ride amazing. im 5'6 and this is the perfect size. I've always raced 600s so this is my first cruiser.

It's the perfect size for me also, the bike feels amazingly good to ride, sounds great too. Only problem I have is how easy to scrape the floorboards, even turning to a side street. It's my first cruiser too, I'll be sticking to this kind of bikes for some time, they have won me over. Enoy it & ride safe.
