Old GNT 4601 Paper Tape Punch machine emitted some smoke on first power on after being 2 years dormant. The reason was a shorted small tantalum capacitor on the main board. The device is from 1982 and had about 4 capacitors to short so far (2 tantalum, 1 RIFA and 1 main smoothing can cap).
